I only accept bookings for a minimum of 2 nights and maximum of 4 nights for Wednesday,Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
As a Hostess I would like to welcome people from all parts of Australia and the World to enjoy our lovely home including air conditioning in the bedrooms and throughout our home. We are close to the Gold Coast Theme Parks, the Train Station that joins with the G:link that runs down to the coast past the Gold Coast Hospital, Southport, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach Mall and on to Pacific Fair shopping complex. We are also close to the M1 that takes you to Brisbane and train to Brisbane Airport and south to the Gold Coast Airport by road.
My husband works but is often home and we love to help people with places to visit so that their stay with us is as enjoyable as we can help to make it.
Our pool which is 3 mtrs wide by 10 mtrs long is heated and always ready for guests to have a swim.
The Media room has Fox Television and a lounge to relax on for Guests to use.

About the Area
Close to GC and Brisbane.
Our home is located in a very new estate in one of the fastest growing areas in Australia. We have bush across the road from our home with a very wide walking path for that leisurely afternoon/evening stroll. Our home is located on the northern side of the Gold Coast in a quiet and safe suburb. We are a short drive to Dreamworld and Water World also Movie World is just a short drive down the road. There are 5 shopping centers within a few kilometers drive of our area. A brand new shopping centre only 8 minutes drive away with Cinema and restaurants open for business.
Excellent location! Close to the motorway for easy access to both Gold Coast and to Brisbane. Just 5 minute drive to theme parks. And only a 3 minute drive to the train station. Only 3 minutes away from shops with a variety of fast food.

It’s a great place to stay, location is very beautiful, close to nature and near the transport

Staying with Jillian and her husband Greg during the christmas/new year season was lovely - and they are a lovely couple.
The bedroom and facilities are true to picture, room was clean and tidy. My son and I had access to pool any time we wanted which was lovely and close to all theme parks.
Bedroom was clean, and comfortable. Ceiling fan helped cool the room down as the front room that I stayed in would get quite hot during the day.
Also quite close to tourist spots such as surfers and the G.C that was handy to have as well.
There's little convenience shops close by if you need to purchase items as well as a massive Westfields which was also good to have close by.
Jillian also told my son we have access to foxtel in their media room which was nice - as my son wanted to watch The Simpsons marathon haha.
I gave 4 out of 5 stars - only feedback/suggestions I would give is I wasn't sure if I was allowed access to the air con unit, which when arriving back from a day out the bedroom would be hot....I would leave the ceiling fan on during the day to keep the room cool and the only way the air con would be on is if Jillian & Greg would have it on or set.
It did feel like staying with 'Your Mother' for holidays as I was told what I wasn't allowed to do which was hang my towel on the shower screen to dry - as I didn't know where to put it, and Jillian would tell my son to make sure doors are always closed, lights are turned off when leaving a room and make sure not to spill anything on the couch when eating (which my son didn't spill anything on the couch).... my only advice would be is if these are the house rules that you would like which is fine & valid, in terms of towels and bathroom rules perhaps have that set up during the house tour upon arrival so guests know what to expect, and if furniture is not to be used or eaten on either do not let guests use it, use furniture covers or have older furniture that you don't mind if potential spills happen.Other than that it was a great place to stay!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
