We are a small family and our house is a small house and we live with two pets, a cat and a very well behaved 10yr old dog who does not bark through the night, so if you do not like pets or are afraid of them please do not book a room here. We live in Artane/Raheny area, a short walk from the train station and the bus stop, so using public transport to get to the center of Dublin only takes 10 minutes via train or bus. A small breakfast is included in the price and consists of tea or fresh coffee, toast & jam.

About the Area
Our house is located IN Dublin 5 near Artane, Raheny and Clontarf, both of these areas are a few minutes walk from my home and a short train or bus journey from Howth, Malahide, Portmarnock and the city center. The airport is a 15 minute drive from my home. Public transport is 1 minute walk away if you want to use the bus to the city center is about 12 minutes journey, if you want to use the train, we call it the DART it is a 7 minute walk from the house. The area we live in is a quiet and safe suburb with the nearest village 3 minutes walk away, the village of Raheny has banks, shops, a gym, pub, takeaways, library, restaurants and cafe's. In the opposite direction there is a cinema and a leisure plex, a huge gym, Aldi and Lidl. The coast is only a few minutes walk away. We live along the train line which is a short journey from the city center and all the colleges such as Trinity College and a very short journey to Eastpoint business park and the Three arena, Google docks and a range of English schools.

House Rules
This is a family home, please respect us and the house as you do your own. No smoking anywhere in the house, smoking only in the garden. I have no problem with guests going out for a sociable drink but I do have reservations about those who become very drunk as this always causes problems. If you break anything in my home you must pay in full for a replacement and the cost for a tradesman to refit.
You are free to come home at any time, but please be quiet for us and for the neighbours, especially between 10.30pm and 7.00am
It is not permitted to bring other people to our home no matter what.
Latest check in is 11pm unless otherwise agreed before booking, you must inform me of your arrival time before booking the room. Latest check out time 10.30am unless otherwise agreed before booking. Laundry is only for long term stays or incase of emergencies.

Nous sommes restés chez Ann pendant 2 jours. Elle a été d'un accueil et d'une générosité sans faille. C'était vraiment très agréable de passer du temps en sa compagnie dans sa maison ! Nous avons apprécié la literie qui était vraiment très confortable, ce qui nous a permis de nous reposer comme il se doit entre nos randonnées et escapades ! Merci pour tout Ann ! :D

It was a wounderful experience my stay at Ann' s lovely home. The house is very beautiful and very clean. I loved my bedroom, very confortable. The place is very well connected and very close both to the airoport and to the city centre. The bus is jut a few minutes from the house and there is a supermarket at walking distance. What it was incredibile was the hospitality of Ann, who made feeling at my home and she delighted me with a very nice breakfast. Thanks Ann

I couldn't have made a better decision than to stay with Ann. I felt welcome, safe and literally "at home", it made my first (and very last minute) trip to Dublin so much easier and managable. Thank you so much for your hospitality, warmth, kindness and all the help you provided! I'm already looking forward to coming back.

We loved staying with Ann! She was super friendly and fun to talk with and her dog was super sweet and happy. Her home was very cozy and welcoming and near the city center and the coast. Highly recommend staying with Ann <3

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
