Our apartment is very bright, cozy, ethnic décor and open-space. It is perfect for a one single person or couple, even with 1 kid/baby (small bed in request). You will sleep in the kids bedroom, a double bedroom (they will sleep with me don´t worry) :) well, in fact i´ll have na excuse to sleep with them.
Fresh sheets, towels and bathrobes are provided. Shared bathroom. In your room you will have a kettle with tea and coffee, fresh water and some cookies. Continental "homemade" breakfast provisions are provided as: iogurt or milk, normal/toasted bread, jam and butter, orange juice or fruit, coffee/tea, eventually eggs. Is also possible to have a Portuguese meal with us. During week days, bedding, cleaning of the room and shared areas (like the toilet) will be provided. You can access some facilities of the house: shared bathroom, dining room (for breakfast), living room (for a glass of wine, for example) and fast wi-fi connection. Cooking in not allowed.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor without elevator but do not worry because I do it every day even with little children.
Have an unique experience with a young Portuguese family that loves to travel in a nontouristic neighborhood Conde Redondo, friendly and quiet, with shops nearby, like, minimarket, farmacy and a homemade brewery.
We live in the city center, so you can reach easily by walking: Avenida da Liberdade (1km), Marquês de Pombal (1.5km), Martim Moniz (1.5km), Chiado and Bairro Alto (2.3km), The Castel (2.7km).

MY biggest PASSION IS TRAVELLING, discover the unknown and losing myself in the sounds, smells and rhythms of distant countries...but i hate to pack (now I have a minimalist backpack, so it should work!)
Something draws me to Africa and I don´t know why!
I love being outdoors, whether in the city or in the countryside...
I love to dance (almost everykind).
It feels so good to show the world to my kids (Maria Rita 4 years-old and Eduardo Maria 2 years-old).
My life motto: do whatever it´s funny or important!
Because all of this i love to open the doors of my home and meet new people and try to give a local experience in my city.

About the Area
The neighborhood Conde Redondo is friendly and quiet, with shops nearby, like, Dona Lurdes´s minimarket, farmacy and a homemade brewery.
We live in the city center, near Marquês de Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade and Martim Moniz (10-15min walking).
Transports are also close to the apartment, including metro and bus but most of the must-see spots are within walking distance.

Nothing in particular! You can enter the house any hour, if you don´t do much noise at night, off course...You can smoke in the balcony.

A perfect stay! Sharing time with Ana Rita and Bruno as a guest in their stylish apartment made my whole Lisbon experience so comfortable and authentic. The family, including two very adorable young children, have become very experienced in arranging short-stay B&B and planned many extra touches such as a welcome letter in English, personal bath robe, hairdryer and complimentary tea service in the guest room. The location is within less than 5 mins walk from Marques de Pombal metro station, or perfect strolling distance (10-15 minutes, max) into the city centre - do remember there's many steep hills if you're booking Lisbon ;-) Ana Rita was extremely eager to help me feel right at home and she generously spent much time chatting socially in the evenings too. Their guest book is already filling up with warm compliments from many different international travellers - all the praise is hugely, hugely deserved in my opinion. *** Thank you so much again! ***
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
