Me and my husband are IT professionals working in multi-national software companies. We have a 8 year old little daughter.
All 3 of us like traveling, movies and cooking. We have been to countries such as USA, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Singapore and waiting to visit many more and getting to know new people, learn new stuff, new cultures and visit amazing places around the world.
Next countries in our wish list: India, Dubai, Hong Kong, France (Thanks to home hosting,now we have friends whom we can get the support in these countries.)
We have found hosting was a perfect idea allows us to interact with guests from different parts of the world that bring difference to our routine life style.

About the property
[Note: This room will not be rented for locals]
- Newly built premises with a separate entrance to your fully tiled room (130sq.foot)
- You are provided with a set of keys for the room and the gate so you can go out and come back at any time of the day without any restrictions.
- Room has an attached bathroom, fully tiled, modern fittings with hot & cold water.
- Furniture includes 1 queen-size bed, mini-bar refrigerator, desk with chair, mirror, corner table and a cloths rack.
- The room does NOT have air-conditioning but has a ceiling fan.

- Located in Colombo 05 in a serene residential area with ample greenery around yet very close to major travel routes.
- Very close to public transport.
* 5 minutes walk to 138 main bus route -High Level road
* 3 minutes walk to Kirulapone train station
* 10 minutes walk to 183 and 176 main bus routes

House Rules
• 40USD will be charged for lost keys to replace the locks for security reasons.
• All electrical items must be switched off if you are going out of the premises specially fan, electric kettle and lights excluding mobile devices plugged in for charging.
• Garbage (specially food waste) must be disposed properly and must not be litters in the room. Garbage disposing bags will be provided to you.
• No activities that are prohibited by Sri Lanka law are allowed in the premises.
• No smoking is allowed inside the room, but allowed outside the room.
• Guests must not bring/entertain visitors in the room or at the premises.
• We are compelled charge a fair cost for any damages to the property, fittings or equipment due to negligence.
• Guests must not make loud noises or listen to music with high volume in a manner that would disturb the hosts or neighbors

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thisanthi is a legend with a wealth of knowledge about places to see and good restaurants like the sizzle!! Her daughter is very sweet and they are always up for a chat. They are so kind thisanthis husband drove us to the station because our taxi didnt turn up on time. The room is modern and has a good bathroom. Would definitely go back if we are ever in colombo. Thanks again!!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
