If you are looking for a homestay in Boston, Arlene will surely be the best choice for you. During my staying in her house, she gave me a lot of kindness and love as if I was her grandson. Rooms were pretty clean, the bathroom was big enough, and the meals she made couldn't be better. Plus she has a lot of friend, who came to her house every week. That's why I spend the really enjoyable time with Arlene and friends of hers in her house. Cannot appreciate what she did for me too much. Definitely the first choice!!!

Arlene was a very welcoming host and great person. The accommodations were super clean and very comfortable, plus easy parking in large driveway. She was generous in sharing whatever she had cooked or baked with her guests and visiting friends, plus very knowledgeable about Boston area. Highly recommended!!

Arlene is fantastic! Don't be fooled by the "tough broad" persona: she has an absolute heart of gold. I stayed for 5 weeks, and I would gladly have stayed longer if she didn't have other guests booked up. I really hope to have made a lifelong friend. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully decorated. There are lots of room configurations to choose from (depending on availability). I hadn't done a homestay before so I wasn't sure what to bring, but it turns out that "If she doesn't have it, you don't need it." :-) Since I was staying so long, we worked out a side deal where she provided coffee & breakfast in the morning and a delicious home-cooked meal every night. Worth every penny!! Off-street parking in the driveway was a big plus. But by far the best part was Arlene herself. She's one in a million. And between the other guests and dinner parties with Arlene's personal friends, there was rarely a night that it was just Arlene and me. One of the best decisions I made.

I had an amazing stay. The Italian dinners, visitors from other countries, and very understanding and pleasant host. I almost wish l could stay longer.
