We are a family opening up our home - made up of 2 adults, a studious 17 year old and 2 adorable elderly dogs. They are really social and love to be around people but we promise they won't get in your way.
We work quietly from home so we are often available to our guests for those that need some tips or advice, while still giving you your peace and privacy.
We love cultural exchange and encourage you to share your adventures, language and cuisine with us in return for some of our own stories and the occasional home cooked meal.

About the Area
Our home is tucked away near the end of a no through road, away from the busy main roads. Everything you need is only a 5 to 10 minute walk away - large supermarket, pharmacy, doctor and dentist, 24 hour gym, newsagent, hairdresser and nail salon, delicious restaurants and cafes ranging in cuisine.
There is also a large shopping centre with a large range of shops including a cinema a short walk from the house.
We are also only a 10 minute walk to 2 different train stations and several bus stops.
We live across the road from a small park and a few minutes down the other end of our street is a large reserve - which is great for jogging, has a fun playground for kids and barbeque facilities.
Most importantly we have wetlands only 5 minutes from the house teeming with ducks and swans. There are beautiful walking trails around the wetlands and several places to sit and enjoy the scenery and wildlife.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Our number 1 rule is to treat our home as if it were your own.
With that being said, the following rules are implemented to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.
No smoking, you must register all over night visitors and have respect for those around you.
These are in place simply to encourage our guests to be respectful towards one another and our home.

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
