My name is Manuela. Guntram and I welcome you to stay in our home in Elwood/North Brighton. We have 2 Double rooms completely independent from the main Victorian house featuring TV, Mirror, Desk and Lamp, Hair-dryer, Radio, Closet / Wardrobe, Heat/Air Conditioning, and fully self contained separate modern kitchen available for homestay guests. Our home is conveniently located in central Brighton 9 km from the city centre. The next bus stop is located 300 meters from our house running directly to Monash university (30mins) every 20 mins and route 216/219 takes you directly to Elsternwick station and further on into the city.

Manuela is 59 and enjoys cooking, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, learning foreign languages, socialising, travel, gardening, and nature. She speaks English and German

Guntram is 60 and enjoys sports, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, learning foreign languages, socialising, travel, gardening, nature, board games, and car, bike racing. He speaks English and German

Manuela and Guni have 3 adult children ;one living at home and a friendly dog.
Our guests are invited to use our swimming pool and BBQ.

House Rules

Please keep your apartment nice and tidy when you leave and remember we live in a quiet residential street.
Keep noise to a minimum after 10PM please
Always turn off all lights etc when you leave.
Please do not invite friends/strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just discuss it with me in advance
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home!

    Very friendly and helpful hosts. Nice area to live with nice little shops and food places and its easy to spend time at the close beach! With the public transport its easy to get into Melbourne City.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
