Absolutely an enjoyable stay with Kaley and her family! Everyone in the house is friendly and welcoming. Kaley's mother-in-law even shared their harvest with us. The house is spacious, you get to have your own privacy. Kitchen, laundry, wifi and other amenities are welcomed to use with simple and reasonable rules to follow. Superb location with bus stop just a minute away and 30 mins bus to CBD. Would definitely recommend to anyone who are looking for a place in Melbourne with homey vibes!
The room and the house was as described and as photos. Use of Wifi, kitchen laundry all was allowed with some rules that make perfect sense and should not be a problem to follow. The location of the house is excellent, frequent bus to CBD and only a short drive, close to shops, parks and off street parking available. Only disappointment was that the feeling is like living in a Hostel, too many people living there, the owners are almost never home and will not be happy for any additional request (example when I lost my key they did not reply on messages). Also the dogs are very cute but sure make a lot of noise.
It was so nice to stay with Kaley and her family! They are very friendly and everything is well organized. I really enjoyed spending time with them, Kaley's mother-in-law is so thoughtful and always offer me to have meals together, she even taught me how to cook. Guests are all so kind and would like to chat with you. You are welcome to use laundry and kitchen etc. Convenient location and it only takes 20mins to reach CBD by bus. Highly recommend for those who love kids and dogs, they are sweet and cute. Also, place is safe and with a warm family atmosphere. Unfortunately, I did not spend much time with Kaley as we were both too busy, but still she tried to contact with me and make sure everything is fine. Thanks for helping me through the tough times and I really appreciate it. You'll never want to miss this lovely place.
Huge disappointment !!!
When we arrived , we did no expect the house to be so dirty and messy (because on the pictures everything was clean is then ordered) . The bedroom with the carpet on the floor was not very healthy . The bathroom is too dirty !
When we booked the bedroom it was not specified that there were cameras everywhere in the house .
Good luck for the future tenants !
A lovely peaceful place with spacious rooms and a great family atmosphere. Five hearts to Kaley. We recommend it without reservation.
I enjoy my time here with my friends. The place is very clean and fully furnished. Kaley and his husband are very kind people and very helpful if you need anything. A car is better to live here but it's very calm.
Thank you very much !
We stayed at Kaleys for nearly 40 days and enjoyed the whole stay! Kaley and her family are really nice and friendly and always offer to help you with anything. Also her dogs are adorable too :) you can use everything you need (laundry, kitchen, WiFi, etc.) without any problem and the rules are really simple. The bus stop is just 1 minute away and the ride is really easy because you don’t need to change when you want to go into the centrum. We enjoyed our month in Melbourne a lot and we would recommend the stay at Kaleys for everyone who doesn’t want to share a hostel room with so much people and have a room for their own - yet be around a family !
Before I went with my girlfriend to study tour to Australia, I wanted to be accommodated somewhere where we will had privacy with private bathroom, and we found at Kalye’s house ,so I booked it for 3 months and now I can say that they are welcoming, friendly, very convenient great facilities and comfortable, excellent value, would highly recomend this home and family and location . ,,As a home away from home” so I decided to stay for a longer ztime. if you want privacy and to be close to the sports bar, fish and chips, pizzeria and more shops also bus stop station just 30sec. And you do not want to share one small flat with over 6 people in CBD. Kaley’s home is the right choice!!!! Lukas :)))
