My home is in a peaceful little neighourhood with a nearby lake and park, it is a short walk to Burleigh Beach, shops, cafes and restaurants and the main transport hub up and down the Gold Coast Highway. Dreamworld, Seaworld, Movieworld, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, the casino and lots of shopping centres are an easy bus ride away. My adult son and I enjoy travelling and meeting new people. My son has moved back home and is training to be a teacher, after spending some time in Asia teaching English as a second language. We have a pilates reformer for strengthening exercise. You have a king sized bed, with one side being fully adjustable for your convenience. The bathroom is shared and a hair dryer is provided for your use. You are welcome to use the kitchen, there is a shelf for you in the fridge. Fast wifi and smart lights throughout the home. We have a toy /mini poodle puppy who is really friendly and in training but she does tend to dominate our home. Our home is wheelchair accessible and has access to a disability shower on site. Please message me to discuss mobility requirements if needed.

About the Area
Burleigh is on the end of Gold Coast in a quiet and safe suburb that is close to the beach.
Our house is a 1-2 mintue walk to a local cafe and lake. The area is full of trendy restaurants. nightclubs, cafes and some nice fashion booutiques and specialist shops. There is a local pharmacy, medical centre, dentist, a Metro Woolworths, IGA, Artesian Bakery, butcher and greengrocer close by.
There is a neighbourhood bus stop 2 minutes walk that lin and a bus stop on the Gold Coast Highway 7 minutes walk away that has buses every 10 minutes or so.

Please note - we recommended a client cancel a booking made 8 months in advance as on reflection we thought it too onerous to accept a 3 night booking so far in advance. Due to a misunderstanding about the process the booking wasn't cancelled by the client as expected and it wasn't until she alerted me that she'd not received her refund that I cancelled the booking hence the automated message.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKERS OR SMOKING ANTWHERE ON THE PREMISES - If you smoke at all please don't apply as we will have to ask you to leave.
Full payment must be made upon arrival.
Guests need to clean up/place in the dishwasher your own cups, dishes and cutlery.
Guests need to keep their room clean and tidy. All food/perishables to be stored on your shelf in the pantry and/or fridge.
A chemical free home, suits people with asthma, chemical sensitivities who don't wear perfumes.
Please do not wear perfume in the home.
A quiet home. Please wear headphones when listening to music or watching a movie.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
