We are a family living in a very leafy and quiet suburb with beautiful nature views from every position looking out. Our house is a stone's trow from the popular Roadhouse Cafe, Tallow's beach and the adjacent tea tree lake. Walking or cycling to town is an option.
The room available changes around on occasion, yet all rooms of the house are lovingly furnished. We have at present the back end room available that overlooks the backyard and has its own entry. The garden offers various outdoor areas with sitting options as well as a sauna. Bicycles are available upon request. All of our 8 famous beaches in Byron Bay can be reached in five minutes by car.

We were staying at Helens place for about a week. We lived in a room at the end of the house, which had it's own entrance and faced the garden so we saw Helen almost every day painting outside because of her art exhibit (wish you the best and that everything went well like you have planned it). Nothing is missing in the room (desk, wardrobe, mirror, sofa, tv and obviously a bed). We had an own kitchenette, which is well equipped. Helen is kind and suggested to pick us up when we arrive in Byron Bay and also droped us off at the bus station on the day we left Byron. And one day she drove us to the Lighthouse so we only had to go the hilly way down and not up. As she wrote in the discription we had bikes, which was a big help because otherwise we had to walk about 30/40 minutes into towncentre or Main Beach. The house is very easy to find and surrounded by rainforest.

If you are ever going to Byron Bay, you are unlikely to find a better place to stay. The room has everything you could wish for; bed (obviously), a magnificent en-suite shower and toilet, cooking and washing up faciliities and a wonderful outdoor terrace that attracts the sun throughout the day.
The property is about a 20 minute walk into the town centre, but there are frequent buses should you not feel like stretching your legs.
The host, Hele, could not have been more hospitable. Even down to providing me with some essentials to allow me to enjoy a music festival that I was attending.
Oh, and the price was more than reasonable, compared with other places I looked at.
