My name is Rachael. Brian and I welcome you to stay at our home near North Brisbane. We have 2 queens and 1 double room available for homestay guests with wardrobe and desk. Our home is in the country but located a short drive to the Morayfield shopping center and Caboolture train station (1-hour train journey to Brisbane CBD). Don't worry about getting around, there is a bus stop out front or we can easily drop you to the station.
Rachael is 47. She speaks English and enjoys cooking, music, festivals, socializing, travel, television, nature, and theatre. I speak English.
Brian is 48 and enjoys sports, golf, watching movies, music, travel, spending time outside. He speaks English.
Rachael has 2 children 1 living at home 16-year boy and a 21 year old girl on Hayman Island.
We have 5 dogs all friendly. We have chickens and cows.
We have a swimming pool, tennis court, basketball hoop and pool table. We are close to walking/ bike trails.
We have inside and outside areas for eating and socialising. There is a fire ring for a bonfire.
We are on 10 acres so plenty of room, we have lots of off street parking.
There are 4 rooms upstairs. With a central lounge, shared toilet and shared bathroom. There is additional shower room and toilet downstairs also. Kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of refrigeration and storage space.

About the Area
Our homestay is the perfect location when visiting South East Qld. We are only 1 hour from the CBD of Brisbane and 10 min to the Shopping mall but set in a rural area. We are on the beautiful sunshine coast area. We are near Australia Zoo, Glasshouse Mountains, beaches, The hinterland which include beautiful Maleny and Monteville. We are in the regional zone for WHV and are near many strawberry farms for picking jobs. Once you confirm your booking you will get an email with our complete address so you won't have any problems finding us.

Staying with Rachael is a wonderful experience!! Not so easy to access the city centre but it is worth it. She and her family are very nice, kind, helpful people, a wonderful place surrounding by trees in a peaceful area. You must love animals because they do and have a los of them. If you don't it doesn't matter, they keep the animals outside, except one dog that comes in from time to time.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
