Hey there potential flat mate. We are looking to share our 5 bedroom house in Cannon Hill. It is a 2 storey modern home which is conveniently close to all ammenities. You have a bus stop with in 30m of the front door. Train station is 5 mins walk. Cannon Hill shopping centre is a 5 min drive also Morningside plaza is 5 min drive in the other direction. The ENORMOUS Carindale Westfield is a 10 min drive also.
The room itself is a fully furnished room. You will have the choice of a very comfortable king size bed or a just as comfortable queen size bed. There are side lamps and tables. Built in wardrobes. Ducted air con. All linen is provided as well as towels etc.
The house itself is a large 2 storey home that gets plenty of natural light and lots of morning and aftermnoon breezes. There are 2 seperate living areas. So you can have the choice of chilling out in your own area downstairs where there is a couch and tv etc or come upstairs and hang out with us over a coffee. It's entirely up to you. There is a large modern bathroom. There is a gym outside if you feel the need. 2 decks upstairs where you will find a bbq and outdoor patio area. It has a large laundry and kitchen area. There is also plenty of parking.
About us.... We have just moved from the Gold Coast to be closer to our business in bulimba. We are a very laid back easy going couple. We love a good laugh and try to let that quality flow through the house when possible. We have an 8 year old daughter who is a cool funky little girl and easy to be around. ( if you choose to come upstairs ) we understand and respect that our potential flat mate may just want to come home some days and relax or you may come home and hang with us and catch up. We are cool either way. Just remember the same goes for us too. The house is definitely big enough so we are not under each other's feet.
About you...... We are looking for a no hassles easy going flat mate. Would be good if you were self sufficient and able to take care of you and yours. You must play well with others. Would be good if you are clean and tidy as we already have an 8 year old and 1 is enough for now. I'm not fussed on how you get your money. (Robbing banks, robbing little old ladies at ATMs) just remember rent is due each week and we will get on just fine. I think that is all for now.
Weekly stay fees - $385.00 for a single person or $770.00 for a couple inclusive of Internet, electricity and water.

It was a very nice bedroom having only to share a living room and bathroom with just one other guest. There was also a refrigerator downstairs for guests to useuse. The family were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this homestay.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
