There is a large self contained room with kitchenet and laundry , TV, Queen sise Bed and table and chairs. Also there is 2 single beds in the caravan available at the moment Close to the Beach in fact 150 steps away. Fridge and TV . I live in a very nice quiet suburb of Toogoom near Hervey Bay about 12 minutes drive to all the main shops . The home is situated just off Shellcot Street. I also have a cat of 10 years old. It is a quiet area with the sound of the sea at night is so relaxing . The house is kept very clean and tidy. Plenty of Parking off street. Check out before 11 am.

About the Area
Lovely Beach side area, quiet peaceful place where you can relax. 10 minutes drive to Hervey Bay shopping ect. a couple of minutes to coffee shops and golf club. 5 minutes drive to Craignish Country Club Hotel. Plenty of fishing to be done here.

House Rules
I will need a security deposit of no less than $50 for short stays deposit for house key and can be discussed prior to arriving. Any damages in the home will have to be paid. Please leave no rubbish behind in the rooms when you leave. No drinking in excess, There is ash trays for smokers Outdoors, please no smoking at all in the home. You are free to use the Kitchen but must be kept clean . Please do not invite strangers into the home. If having a visitor , please agree it with me in advance. . Please keep showers to a minimum as water is precious. Need to check out by 10 am
Payment Method: Please note that we require full payment of the room in advance
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.

Beds in the caravan are very small may as well sleep in a shoe box bathroom is outdoor would be nice in summer but 6 degrees when I tried to shower and the shower kept going hot and cold I asked her about a receipt for tax and she didn’t know what I was on about all in all I will not stay there again

This was our first time using homestay, and it will be our last. She is not friendly as she describes herself in her profile. As we were having dinner she inspected the stuff we used which made us feel uncomfortable and disrespected. The next morning she said we didn't keep the kitchen tidy, as we didn't put the dishes into the cupboards but she didn't tell us this beforehand and its a different culture, we are used to letting dishes dry in the dish rack.
She is quite aggressive and when we wanted to use the kitchen, as it was mentioned in her homestay profile that we could use it,I tried to ask her kindly but before I could even finish my sentence,she said 'it doesn't mean you can use it all day', which is ridiculous; we came here for a holiday not for cooking lessons, why would we use it all day? We also asked her about the light breakfast she said was provided, she said its tea and coffee...Host reply
These girls did not speak English and had no idea they were staying in a home and not a back packers with no Home skills, Very unclean and untidy . As they left, the room was full of Rubbish and a large broken suitcase and nearly Broke the Front door security screen off the hinges as they left my home, left the kitchen unclean, Absolutely not polite, friendly or house trained.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pacific Pines with Carole & Anthony. Lovely, happy people, lovely clean house & pool, comfortable bed. Pacific Pines is a nice area near Helensvale, not far from beach. Enjoyed dining at the Pacific Pines Tavern which was 5 mins from Carole's home.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
