My partner and I are renting our spare bedroom for any travellers, professionals or students alike! The apartment is a great size and has a large lounge area, separate dining, shared bathroom with bath and 2 courtyards (one at the front and one at the back). The room itself is not large however has a built in wardrobe that should be able to fit all of your belongings during your stay. My partner Scott (age 30) & I (age 27) work rotating hours so we are often out on weekends and some week nights so you may find you have the place to yourself at times, however we are always available to answer any questions or provide any advice should you need it! We like to cook at home and have family and friends around which we like to include our guests in should they be interested. We have a little puppy that will also be sharing the space with us! He is a Cavoodle so small, allergy friendly and very gentle. If you have any questions about this breed please feel free to ask!

About the Area

Our apartment is located on a quiet street (approx 7km from the CBD) however it is within walking distance of everything you need in Moonee Ponds. There is Queen's Park at the end of the street as well as multiple forms of transport within 750m of our address. This includes Moonee Ponds train station (11 mins to Melbourne Central Station), tram #59 and a large bus depot that can take you to suburbs such as Brunswick in no time. Within walking distance you also have Puckle St which has two large supermarkets, a small shopping complex, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies and wine bars. Absolutely all the essentials are within walking distance! Citylink is also very close which gives excellent access to the city as well as the South/South Eat suburbs. There are multiple medical centres in the vicinity and the Royal Melbourne/Royal Women's Hospital is approx 16 minutes drive away as well as Footscray Hospital which is 14 minutes drive. Approx 12 minutes away you will also find Highpoint Shopping Centre, one of Melbourne's largest shopping complex.

A very lovely relaxed welcoming couple, offering us to use all facilities and a nice quiet bedroom with a top notch QBed. Only 10mins to a main precinct, with rail transit to the city every 15mins.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
