A private room in a spacious character home walking distance to the beach. Suits travellers or business people who want some peace and quiet but all just a stone's throw from historic Fremantle. Available long or short term.
The Space
The house is very homely but with all the mod cons. It is air conditioned in summer with an open fire in winter. I have lots of books, DVDs and CDs which guests are welcome to read, watch or listen to plus a variety of board games for some lazy down time inside or outside! I am happy to be social or not depending on your requirements.

Interaction with Guests
Happy to 'interact' as little or as much as a guest desires. I have a passion for the arts (written, visual, film and music) so I always have some good tips in this department. Fremantle is full of great cultural things to do.
Getting around
There is a free local bus (CAT) service that runs to both South Beach and Fremantle. You can catch the CAT to the train station for access to Perth city and other areas. The house is equidistant between the beautiful South Beach and the centre of bustling Fremantle both within walking distance. It is all VERY convenient!

About the Area
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
You need go no further than the top of the street for a great range of cafes and restaurants who serve great coffee and great food! The beach is only five minutes away which is wonderful in summer and winter. And the centre of Fremantle with its own cafe culture, shops and history is only 10 minutes walk away or 2 minute CAT bus ride away.
It might be autumn now but the weather is still balmy and remains temperate throughout the winter months due to the property's proximity to the coast.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
