I've recently finished the build journey of my beautiful 4X2 house, and am excited to list my spare room on homestay as my way of giving back to the community and assisting like minded travellers in Perth.
I was born and raised in Ballajura, so I know the NOR Perth area well for plenty of tourist or food hot spots for you to hit up. I'm a very genuine and laid-back open minded person so transparency and empathy are my hosting values. Looking forward to hosting you in my place!

About the Area
Beechboro is a wonderful well connected area with plenty of access to public transport within walking distance, a shopping centre 10 minute walk to access Aldi and woolworths, then an IGA 5 minute walk the other way.
Easy access to Reid and tonkin highway to connect to your tourist destination activities, and 10km drive from the airport too! And currently being built is a train line to connect north perth to south perth directly.

House Rules
Your room: make yourself at home in your own private space. Chest of drawers and wardrobe to store all your clothes, and extra blankets in there too if you need some extra warmth! Absolutely no smoking or vaping in your room or in the house at all. That is to be done outside no exceptions please. If you're going to eat on the bed please be careful to not spill any liquids or food on the bedding.
TV: Main living area TV is available for you any day of the week to utilise and relax in, I love watching movies and shows so you're welcome to watch something with me after work hours otherwise if you're solo viewing all streaming apps are there easily accessible, then use the little remote to fire up the sound bar which is where the sound plays through. No TV past 9pm on weeknights please.
Kitchen: fully decked out with appliances for you to use, treat them with care and respect as if they were your own. Same goes for cutlery and pans etc, clean them and put them back where you found them/ give them a rinse and into the dishwasher if its basic items. Pantry contains free tea and coffee for your usage, and some milk in the fridge as well. House has 3 stage water filter system on it too, so drink up to your hearts content.
Bathroom/ shower: please stick to a 3-5 minute shower time as water is expensive! You're welcome to use the bath during your own stay as well, and make use of the shower gel supplied at your leisure.
Washing machine: located in the laundry behind the kitchen you're welcome to use where required during your stay. washing liquid and fabric softener is supplied. If doing a small load please select the 15 minute quick wash setting not the general wash which is 50 minute cycle. Clothes line is ready for use for sunny days, however on cold rainy days please ask where the clothes horse is and can use that.
House parking: please don't park in the driveway but instead park on the verge either front or side of the house, or opposite the house in the day care car park.
My room and office is off limits. Theatre room ideally please don't use either, but if you're very eager to test it out then don't hesitate to ask.
Simba: he's very friendly but is also protective of the house. So when you come through the door he will likely bark but then lick you and show some affection, and when you're on the couch will want to snuggle up next to you. Feel free to pet him and enjoy his company or request to take him for a walk if you'd like. He's okay to lick any bowls or plates to make washing up easier, but please don't let him into your room or bed with you.

Great stay, clean cosy room and convenient location with shopping near by. Well designed house with everything you need for comfortable stay even at longer period as I was there for 2 weeks. Angus was very welcoming and very helpful and assisted me with extending my stay. Wish I could stay longer. Highly recommended!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
