About the Homestay
Bartell Family Guest Room
Located in Greenwood, we have a lovely room available for short or long term city stays. The room has a comfy queen size bed, drawers, hanging space and a bar fridge so you can make yourself at home The room has access to its own dedicated shower and toilet facility. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom, available for guests to use as needed. You are welcome to use the kitchen by arrangement and share our family living spaces including bbq and lovely outdoor area overlooking the park next door.
Greenwood is a lovely leafy suburb halfway along the train line between the cities of Perth and Joondalup and only 7 minutes from Hillarys Boat Harbour and Sorento Beach. Our home is located next to a park with native trees attracting many varieties of bird life.
Guests are welcome to use our kitchen facilities by arrangement. We have a lovely patio area with lounges, exercise bike, bbq, table tennis and outdoor dining table. Our guests are welcome to make use of these spaces anytime.
Interaction with guests
We like our guests to feel like they are at home away from home. We are happy to engage with guests or leave them to have their privacy. Our priority is that our guests enjoy their stay with us

About the Area
Our house is located north of Perth's Swan River in the leafy suburb of Greenwood. We are 18km from Perth's central business district and 15 -20 minutes drive from the domestic and international airports. Transport on bus or train is within easy reach with the bus available on Blackall drive, Hepburn ave and Wanneroo rd.

Ray & Trish were great! Really friendly & helpful! Their little cottage was super beautiful too! If I have the chance to come back to perth, I will surely come back and rent their cottage again!

Raymond's house is really nice. Everything I need is included such as washing machine, cooking facility. And they are all in a perfect state. The house is very clear, comfortable and also beautiful which is very relaxing. Raymond often hold party in their house and we are welcome to join. It is a good experience for us to join a western party. Raymond's family is also nice to us.
There is just a little bit problem. That is the wifi is not stable enough. But I think it is not a critical problem when compare to other advantages in the house.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
