I live alone in a 3 bedroom house with a huge leafy park out the back, which is used by hundreds of walkers, skaters, cricketers, footballers, family barbques, childrens playground and 20 horses. I don't have any pets. The train station is a pleasant 5 minute walk. Carine is a very central suburb, with several shopping centres all within 5-10 minutes away. It is only 5 minute drive to the most beautiful beaches on the Western Autralian coast. Edith Cowan university is 8 minute train ride away. The bedroom available has a queen size bed, bedside tables, study desk and chair and large wardrobe with air conditioning. Own bathroom with shower. Own separate toilet. Own loungeroom and balcony overlooking the park. Occasionally I have my grandchildren stay in the other spare room.

About the Area
My house is on a very large park with 2 lakes, homes to ducks, swans and lots of wildlife. Many grey and pink galahs and the white cockatoo inhabit the trees. There is a skate park, a 20 horse riding school for the children with disabilities. There is a cricket pitch, football field, barbques and a walking and cycling path around the whole park. I have a local shopping centre 3 minute walk across the park. It consists of at least 50 shops, supermarket, hair salon, nail salon, beauty salon, coffee shop cafe, restaurant, dentist, doctors, the list goes on..too many to name. There is also several big shopping centres within 5 minutes drive. The ocean/beach is a 5 minute drive.

House Rules
No smoking. No noise after midnight. Double lock front door after leaving the house. Feel free to use the kitchen, but please clean up after. Please do not ask strangers into the home: if you would like a friend over, please run it past me first.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
