We are a young family with 3 boys aged 8, 6 and 3. We currently only host female students. Both my husband and I hold a current Working With Children check. We have been hosting international students for over 12 years! Some of the students we have hosted students have stayed for year, some for a month.
All your meals, including snacks, all cleaning, bills and internet costs are included in the weekly fee, we even wash your clothes for you!
You are not required to do any cleaning or cooking, so you will have plenty of time for things that are important to you! We are happy tocater to specific dietary needs, we have provided gluten free, lactose free, halal and vegetarian previously and are happy to try others!
We are a 9 minute walk to Bell station, and a 3 minute walk to trams and buses. Or, you can use our bicycle to get to your destination for free! Travelling by bicycle we are only 3 minutes from Preston South supermarket, 5 minutes from Preston library, 6 minutes from Preston market, 9 minutes from Northland shopping centre and Hoyts cinema, and 9 minutesfrom Northcote Leisure and Aquatic centre.
We have a big, bright, clean, family home foryou to feel comfortable and safe in. We are happy to help you transition and enjoy this exciting experience!

Our house is located on the northside of the city in a safe and quiet suburb. We are 8 km by direct route to the city centre.
We are a 25 minute drive to the airport.

Let us know in advance if you will not be home for dinner or, do not require a packed lunch.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
