My three-month stay was wonderful. I had to stay in Sydney for my Master's project and found it challenging to find an affordable and comfortable place to live, especially on short notice. This granny flat-type accommodation had everything I needed at an affordable cost. I walked to the Uni, used public transport, cooked sometimes, stayed up late to study often, and went back to my home on weekends. It was warm with lovely sunlight. Thanks to my host, I was able to focus on my studies. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Maur was a lovely and caring host. I would recommend staying with Maur and her family if you are looking for a private space with ensuite and a little kitchenette. It also has its own private entrance at the front of the property, so it is very easy to come and go as you please. It was really nice to sit in the front room as it warm and sunny. The only thing I could recommend is maybe some soundproofing around the door connecting through to the house, but otherwise a great stay. I would recommend this home to any traveler/student looking for a place to stay in Randwick.

Maur's accomodation is really comfortable and very well located. There is a direct bus to the airport and to the city center, with only a few minutes walking. Moreover, it is close to the beach and the shops. She and her family were extremely nice, they will do anything so that you feel comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there, so do not hesitate to spend a few nights at her home!

I went to Sydney for an internship at UNSW and was therefore searching for a place to stay near uni, but still near the beach. So this location was perfect for me. It is a 15 minutes walk to Coogee beach and a 20-30 minutes walk to UNSW (depending on upper or lower campus). The house has several bus stations nearby with buses driving you directly to railway station, circular quay, maroubra, eastgardens,...And you can reach Randwick junction by a 15 minutes walk with a shopping centre, many restaurants, chemists, Woolworths and Coles. The house itself has a private entrance, a bedroom, an ensuite bathroom and a kitchenette, so basically everything you need is your own. I was searching exactly for something like this because I prefer living on my own without sharing kitchen, bathroom etc. with flatmates. You barely find something similar there (above all if it is a short term stay), so this kind of accommodation is pretty unique. The rooms were very tidy and Maur thought of everything you would possibly need! She and her family were the best hosts I could imagine - very very friendly and very very helpful. They always made sure that I have everything I need and that I'm feeling good there. I really loved my stay there and it felt like home. So if you are searching for something for your own, I highly recommend this. You won't find something similar with such a great location and such great neighbours.
