House Rules
I live here and have my own bathroom, so the guest bathroom is for the use of only guests, which includes all guests booked in.
All WET items , ie TOWELS ETC, are to stay in the bathroom, not to go into bedrooms as can damage furniture.
Children are not jump on the beds, or run up and down the stairs. That’s dangerous and may cause an accident. In addition, this is a working house, with people working from home, so a peaceful house is necessary.
There is an outside area for children to enjoy.
Quite time is between 10 pm and 7am .
There is an area with a small fridge, electric jug, and microwave for guests exclusive use, with tea and coffee facilities.
The fridge and little table is stocked prior to arrival with cereals, milk, sugar and juice for a light breakfast. It is stocked weekly only. Guests are welcome to purchase from the local supermarket for additional items.
Cutlery, glasses, cups, bowels and even wine glasses if you wish to buy some wine, for your stay here.
This area must be kept clean. All food items to be immediately placed in bins outside.
No bedding is to be brought into the house, including sleeping bags, sheets, blankets, unless you have a cleaning tag done within 24 hours. Only exception is your personal pillow.
No outside shoes to be worn in the house, they are left outside.
No smoking or drugs to come onto the property. If u smoke, please go down to the street, off the property.
If you need anything, I am happy to help.
Thanks for considering my property.

Shailer Park is a lovely area and Christine’s home is close to public transport, a large mall, parks, and a wonderful library. As a host, Christine was helpful in suggesting places to see, and set up a movie and pizza night. Unfortunately, the house wasn’t the best set up for me and my 9 and 10 year olds. The wood floors created reverb throughout the house, so noise such as little boys moving through a room or up and down stairs, the dog barking, the tv downstairs, etc, carried. Great location, just not the best for us. Thank you for your hospitality, Christine.

Christine was a very warm and welcoming host to us (me and my partner) and the house itself is very comfortable, she even went on to give us tips and advice for our Australia travels which was very much appreciated. Without a doubt the best host I've ever stayed with.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
