I have been doing home stay for a while, I have host students, couples, professional and people from all over the world - John and I love to learn about the culture of different countries, We help everyone in any way we can with directions - showing the shopping centres, restaurants or what ever any guests want to know, we become family - at times I cook for everyone and my food is very delicious. I'm not able to host a family. Single person or two people but no kids.
I have lots of reference letters from students saying how much they loved living with me. I love life, I love cooking, entertaining. My house is clean, big and very friendly.
I have 7 rooms in the house, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and a very nice outdoor area with barbecue facility - pool table and outside gym - and we all treat each other like family. I go out of my way to help everyone. Please note if there is 2 people staying the price goes up - to cover the expenses of the facility used. Two people price goes up
Payment of the 50% of the booking total amount required upfront. -

everyone is always happy at my house, we are very helpful and its a warm kind and very respectfully atmosphere, I have host lots of people from different places and everyone has had a great time staying with us. I do speak Italian, English and I do have some international students from everywhere

About the Area
5 minutes from Parramatta, Westmead, 28-30 minutes to Sydney city. Close to trains, bus stops and 1/2 minutes walk to bus stop - very central to everything shops, trains, bus stops, medical centres, hospitals, schools, university. ( the house is 5 minutes to Parramatta and the transport is excellent several train station close by - Wentworthville, westmead, Merrylands, Parramatta all within 5 minutes distances and bus around the corner from the house Parramatta is the second city from Sydney - shops, restaurants, clubs, café, big Westfield shopping centre close by within 5 minutes. close to several shopping centre's you will not be disappointed of the location, several buses around the corner and lots of train station within 5 minutes to go to the city - to go to the Sydney cbd express train takes 28 to 30 minutes.

House Rules
I would like for my guest when not using their computer or any electrical equipment's to Switch everything off - as this can course electrical fault and fire if there is storm -
I appreciate no to much noise after 10.30-11.00pm at night especially during the week as other people may be at sleep and get up early in the morning for work or school. I appreciate no cooking after 8.30pm as the smell of the food travels all over the house and its not fair for others to smell the food while they want relax or sleep.

Please note I require a deposit paid to me in advance of the booking to hold your room on top of the 15% deposit paid to homestay.com ( my pay Pal account details- which you will receive after booking)
any cancellation have to be done within seven days, notice any cancellation later than this will not be refunded. There will be a deposit bond fee if you want use the kitchen to cook meals this security bond will be given back to you when you leave the house providing the premises has been left the same way and no damages has been done. ( The reason for this as I have had other guests staying and have damage some of the equipment's and I needed to replace in my cost.

Not what I had in mind. Too restrictive with too many rules and posted in detail in every room. No t.v and not allowed to make the faintest of noise for fear of waking someone at 7.p.m. MY house, MY rules and don't forget it. I'll forget it.

Tina and John are an amazing host, they have been really humble down to earth and willing to help. Always making sure you are comfortable, even if its for short time. I would strongly recommend them for Homestay .. looking forward to stay with them if in Sydney in the future

Tina and John were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, were very hospitable and exceptionally friendly people. Tina runs a very clean home and asks her guests to keep up the standard. John's orientation on the first day was of great assistance and helped the settling in process and led to trouble free use of the bus and trains which followed. Outside of cooking for others in the house, I was always asked whether I would like to eat, which was not included in my tariff. I really enjoyed my 7 night stay at Tina's happy home and would not hesitate staying again should the opportunity arise. Best wishes, Peter

I would normally stay in hotels, however a friend suggested that I try Homestay! Wow! What an experience. Tina went over and above the service offered. What an absolutely delightful experience!! I was made to feel at home immediately upon arrival. The room was clean, crisp clean sheets, amenities were in excellent order. The hospitality offered was really amazing, I felt very welcomed and relaxed. I highly recommend this homestay, and will not hesitate to stay with Tina when I return to Sydney. Truly wonderful experience.! Thank you Tina.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
