My house has a separate, two bedroom, self-contained ground-floor apartment in a beautiful suburban part of Wheelers Hill. You would be joining an existing, long-term resident in the apartment, an Australian in his late 30s who is kind, quiet, and hardworking, is a busy young film maker/director/producer, founder of a film company, actor, and is a qualified carpenter. The large bedroom available to you has built-in robes and a desk, and a beautiful tranquil private garden with easy-to-maintain lawn. You would share the common areas of the large living room with parquetry timber floors and built-in bookcases, kitchen, and spacious, two-basin bathroom with him. The living room has floor to ceiling windows overlooking a magnificent, peaceful and stunning view of the Dandenongs. The large bathroom has been recently renovated, and the newly fitted kitchen and facilities also has a new washing machine. There is a large, private garden, and an additional private patio area outside the kitchen, lovely for relaxing in. On-street parking, no smoking. Suits professional or student (aged 18+) looking for long-term residency.

About the Area
Our house is located in Melbourne’s south eastern side of the city, about 30 minutes by car from the city centre. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from the house and there are lots of bus options in the area. Close to Mulgrave Researve and wetlands, Jells Park, Monash Art Gallery, Wheelers Hill Library, Wheelers Hill shopping centre. The Glen and Glen Waverley station, Brandon Park shopping centre are nearby, and Monash University is just 15 minutes by car.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
