The house is on a big block of land in SEQ with our own in ground pool, mangos, white mulberries, oranges, dragonfruits, mint, etc. Off-street parking. Big swings and trampoline. It's recently renovated with a shared bathroom with a bath as well as shower and toilet with bidet shower, kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction cookers, all plates, pans, pots, cutlery. I provide coffee, tea, salt, seasonings, napkins. In the lounge room there are 2 retro sofas and a coffee table. Very nice outdoor dining space overlooking the backyard with pool, BBQ and washing machine downstairs.
Wonderful tranquil place to have a romantic dinner in the backyard. Variety of books and games to choose from as well as some light gym equipment.
All rooms have modern quiet LED ceiling fans with remotes, timber beds, bamboo wardrobes, desks, towels, essentials (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, tissues) and first aid kit.
Solar power and hot water system so I do ask that majority of cooking, showers to be before 8pm please. No shower or bath after 8.30pm as unfortunately it's waking the kids up as we are right downstairs.
I am the owner of this beautiful house, a healthcare professional in my early 30s. I live separately downstairs with my 2 kids.
Please note that our house is located in SEQ in the leafy suburbs (not concrete sterile jungle) and we have endemic species around
Additional Info
Please be mindful that due to tropical climate in SE QLD there are a lot of endemic species, including
spiders, cockroaches and snakes. NO REFUND OFFERED if you decide to terminate your stay early
based solely on presence of above or ANY issues caused by other guests – report ASAP.
While we do our best to ensure all areas are cleaned and treated appropriately, you may occasionally
face critters. Please do not leave a bad review based solely on that.

Strictly no smoking, partying or alcohol on premises.
We run on solar power and hot water so ideally would suit a morning person.
We take recycling seriously so various bins can be found on property (recycling waste, general waste, soft plastic and 10c containers).
As I live downstairs with kids no excess noise or shower/bath after 8.30 pm strictly.
We do expect mindful and reasonable usage of resources - water, electricity and food provided.
No smoking in or around premises – smoke detectors installed If you breech you will be evicted with no refund

The house itself is good. The host is also very responsive and helpful. Would recommend to stay here if you have a vehicle, but not if you don’t have one. The house is at least a 30 minute walk from the nearest train station and bus routes into the city. The neighborhood itself is safe but the ones around it are not.

The place was nice, tidy and clean. But the landlord kick us out the first week of our stay. She claimed We were using the washing machine too much and carelessly. But We just used it 3 times on our whole stay. After I left she returned the money from the remaining time but took 50 dollars off for "extra" water expense.
If you are planning to stay for more than a week, I would recommend to consider looking for other alternatives.Host reply
This guest used the washing machine 3 times within the first 48h of stay and was expecting to wash his only set of work clothes daily because he didn't have change. I was understanding and suggested to join loads to help them out, but the communication was almost absent and they continued daily loads of 9kg washing machine with only few items each. The house rules were breached and we were woken up most days at 5am. Very disrespectful guests

Cristina is a model hostess, always helpful, responsible, friendly and cordial. She was helpful even after I left her house, of her own free will and without me even asking her. She is fantastic! Very chill house, simple but complete with everything and with a fantastic pool.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
