Homestay in Cambodia with Beyond Blighty blogger Ari

So many people who talk to me about Homestay.com say that they like the idea but they’re not sure that it’s for them. Some feel strange about living with another person in their home while others are worried that there might be a language barrier between them and their host. While these are real concerns, you shouldn’t let your apprehensions put you off trying something new, as travel blogger Arianwen Morris discovered when she stayed with our host Tola and his family in Siem Reap in Cambodia recently.

Ari became part of the family for her short time in her homestay, learning local games with Tola’s daughters and trying fruits and vegetables traditional to the region.
