Great Britain's landscape has a rugged beauty to it, captured and so accurately brought to life by some of the country's most famous writers and poets. The windswept moors of Wuthering Heights or the farmlands of Thomas Hardy's novels are evoked in such great details and yet imagery of the British landscape is often overlooked by travellers in favour of more exotic climes.
