It was really nice to stay in the homestay, not only because the house was very well equipped for travellers, including the kitchen, but also because we met two couples who were in the same house. They gave us lots of tips about the city which made our trip easier. We became very good friends and still keep in touch.
Bluebell was where we stayed but from there we went every day to the center of Dublin where we visited the Guinness Storehouse, The Temple Bar, Phoenix Park, Oscar Wilde monument, St Patrick's Church, Cathedral and several other places. We took a day to go to Galway city and visit the nearby cliffs of moher. They are amazing and worth the trip.
When buying Luas tickets, it is preferable to buy with the Leap card as the trip is cheaper than buying tickets in cash/coins. Another tip is that we did a day trip to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher, but we spent 6 hours on the bus and only about 4 hours visiting the sites. We suggest, if possible, that other travelers stay at least one night in Galway, which is a very nice city, and from there visit the cliffs of moher as it will be less tiring and more pleasant.
It was excellent, Richard is a really nice and helpful guy. He picked us up at the airport, which made it a lot easier as we didn't know the city. He was also available to help us if we needed it and gave us lots of tips about the city. It was our first homestay experience and it was wonderful. We always think that staying in the same house as other travelers or people who live in the city makes the trip much more fruitful, enjoyable and helps us get to know the city better.
