My family and I have a large home in a beautiful, quiet location called Phakalane. We live about 8km away from the city center. My husband and I have two children who are now in university outside the country. We have so much space in our house, 4 bedrooms upstairs and a huge self contained guest wing on ground floor, and are willing to make extra cash with the vacant space. We have 3 lounges; one for guests downstairs and one for ourselves upstairs, and another one attached to the guest wing. All bedrooms have bathrooms, and the guest wing is ideal for self-catering, with a cooker, oven, microwave, fridge, TV, kitchenette, shower, bath and double bed as well as an extra single bed for those traveling with a child. We love meeting people from different walks of life.

About the Area
Our house is located on the outskirts of Gaborone city along the A1 Gaborone-Francistown highway. We are approximately 8km away from the city center. Public transport is just along our street and its very easy to connect to the city. There are 4 supermarkets nearby, 10 minutes walk from our house, where you will also find a gym, restaurants and fast food shops. We are very close to the Phakalane Hotel and resort, as well as the golf course. The famous Airport Junction mall and Sebele mall are just about 6km away. We are approximately 10km away from Sir Seretse Khama International airport.

Jessica est adorable. Je suis restée 1 mois chez elle et elle à toujours été au petits soins et a l'écoute. Elle me prenait comme sa fille. La chambre que j'ai louer était vraiment top ! Une femme de ménage passe tout les jours et notre intimité et aussi respecté. Merci à jessica pour son accueil ! C'était vraiment super ! Je recommande vivement

This was a quiet and convenient place to stay for a few days whilst visiting a few old friends. Jessica was extremely polite, welcoming and helpful, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jessica's accommodation to other travelers. I would certainly stay here again if I have the opportunity to return to Gaborone. Thank you Jessica.

I really enjoyed my stay with Jessica. The rooms are very spacious and they are kept clean. The atmosphere is very warm and hospitable. Its the place to stay when you are in Gaborone.
January 2016
We stayed at Jessica`s for the night of the 27th Dec 2015. There were 13 of us and we had driven up from Kimberley. We arrived at 7pm and it was still 38 degree`s. The big disappointment was that only 3 of the 5 rooms we had paid for had aircon that worked so we had to move mattresses and blow up airbeds to get the 13 of us into 3 rooms.

The home was lovely, in a serene neighbourhood. Jessica and her family were accommodating. The room was spacious and well kept. The swimming pool was sorted for us...though we didn't get to swim because we were busy. Great place. home away from home.!
How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
