Charming and Family Friendly flat at the heart of Ipanema.

Enjoy Rio in perfect location!
My apartment is a charming, non-smoking 2 bedroom flat, in one of the old 50s buildings. It is very well located on one of the most residential and green streets of Ipanema, between the beach and the stunning Lake (Lagoa). All this makes it a synonym of safe.
To be more precise, it's 3 blocks from the beach (5min walk) and literally round the corner from the Lake (Lagoa), really at the heart of Ipanema, close to all facilities including shops, supermarkets, bakeries, local bars, and restaurants. You can easily access buses (on the main street), metro (on the nearby square) and taxis (everywhere).
The spacious living room is made of two different spaces which in fact were two separate rooms. They are now separated by a curtain and the extra space is used as a home pilates/yoga studio, where you can also rest in a hammock provided.
The living room space can easily be transformed into an extra sleeping space as it has the sofa-bed.
There are two separate bedrooms in the apartment, the master one with a double bed and the smaller bedroom (a Montessouri baby room) with a single low bed. There is a single sofa bed in the living room too.
Altogether the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people or a family with kids.
The master bedroom has a private balcony and faces the street, which is residential with no buses or tracks passing by. It has air-conditioning for those hot summer nights.
The other bedroom is smaller and faces the external area at the back, with plants and a second hammock. (pictures not provided).
The apartment has free wi-fi, and you are free to use all kitchen equipment (fridge, stove, pots & pans, utensils, etc, even the washing machine, which is in the big balcony area).
The bathroom is relatively small but you can even have a hot bath, if for some reason you feel like having one, which in Rio is not a common thing.
The apartment gets a nice breeze coming in from all the balconies and windows, and there are also fans to cool you when heat breaks in.
I am myself a Polish traveller who got happily stuck in Rio over 10 years ago so I'll be happy to help you with any questions you may have to make your stay in Rio smooth and unforgettable!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
