About the Homestay
Centenary house in Tijuca. Close to Maracanã stadium. You can go to the stadium on foot or by bicycle. It is 15 minutes from Lapa, a bohemian neighborhood. South zone beaches (Copacabana to Leblon) bus or metro. Beaches in the west zone (Barra da Tijuca) buses and Vans.
Walks and trails in the Tijuca forest. For those who have breath, you can go to the beaches by bicycle. Very good, worth it.
Our house is in a quiet street with a lot of transport and leisure position, renovated house with air conditioning, bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen, service area with washing machine.
Backyard with barbecue, a small bucolic garden. On winter nights we light the fireplace and almost every night we light decorative candles in the garden... Very charming.
We have a room with a double bed, study table, air conditioning, cable TV, closet and a winter garden.
Our house has 3 bedrooms, one suite for me and my husband. Large living room, dining room and a very pleasant GOURMET space. The 3rd bedroom is an office with a very eclectic library.
I love making different foods and of course I love to serve and hear opinions and compliments.
My husband and I love sharing our culture and learning new ones.
We have 1 pet dog called MARIA, they all live in harmony.
Our children do not live with us. So we have this room available. House with outdoor area with barbecue.

Our house is located in a prime area of Tijuca. With many trade positions, bars, restaurants, pharmacy and supermarkets. We are 15 minutes from downtown Rio de Janeiro, various bus lines and the metro is 2 blocks from home. About 12 agencies of national and international banks.

Smoking indoors is not allowed. You can smoke in the backyard. Be careful with personal and home security, locking each time you enter or exit. If you need anything ask the hosts. In the kitchen is the will ... Clean after use! We do not accept friends in our house, if you need combine with us. Flirting and are a fun couple. We like to go clubbing, beach and cycling. It will be a pleasure to have guests with us. Remember our house is to serve, not forgetting the rules. Feel at home.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
