The house is situated in the quiet and picturesque village of Ravadinovo, right next to the popular tourist attraction The Castle of Ravadinovo. It's just six km away from the ancient town of Sozopol on the Bulgarian Black sea coast famous for its beautiful beaches and archaeological treasures.
Our home is nice and clean with a large flowers, herbs and organic vegetables garden that you can enjoy. All guest rooms are separate rooms and the owner is always smiling, friendly and very helpful . Our family connections with Japan brought to the house some interesting materials illustrating the daily life and traditions of the people of the land of the rising sun. As our guest you'll have the chance to experience a bit of Japan and its cuisine while traveling and exploring the beauty of Bulgarian nature, history and attractions.
The nearest beach to the house is called Zlatna Ribka (Goldfish), it's clean with fine sands and not very deep especially safe and good for bathing with kids. All kinds of water sports are available here and there is scuba diving school in Sozopol as well. Horse riding and bird-watching ( storks) are very popular too.
The house is easy to access from Burgas, Bulgaria (about 35 km) , and it's about 3,5 h drive from Istanbul International airport.

About the Area
The village of Ravadinovo is situated approx 35 km from the town of Burgas, and just a few km from Sozopol. The nearest airports are in Burgas and Varna. It's only 3,5 h drive from Istanbul International airport. When coming from Sozopol , it's the third house on the left in the same beginning of Ravadinovo. It's very easy to find it, right next to the Castle of Ravadinovo.

Staying in Josephina's house for 4 nights turned out to be the best "chez l'habitant" experience ever!!!
She is an amazingly nice person, very helpful and always smiling. She made us feel home the whole time. I miss her warm presence already.
The house is big, clean, the rooms are independent and have their own private balconies.
Ravadinovo is a great location to explore the south of the black sea cost. Burgas, Sozopol, Ahtopol for the biggest ones, and all the smaller towns in between.
The ancient site of Beglish Tash is right there too, the forest of Strandzha is close by too. All the beaches too.
And the special bonuses are:
- Josephina has her own Bulgarian bakery shop, and serves some of her handmade stuff for breakfast. They are all delicious.
- if you come in the summer, Josephina also rents rooms to a bunch of season workers who speak English and are the nicest open, welcoming and helpful people. I feel super lucky we got to spend some time with them as well.
- Ravadinovo is a small but lively village, you will find restaurants, with live shows sometimes, a little super market, a weird castel was recently built next door to the village, an aquapark as well, so it's a small town's life where people know each other and are relaxed, and there is life at the same time, so for me it was the perfect atmosphere, the perfect place, which Josephina is the queen of.I would come back without hesitation and I recommend this house to anyone interested in meeting Bulgarians and discovering the region.
How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
