Welcome to Kralanh Home Stay, a unique accommodation in the nature of Kralanh district which captures the essence of west area of Siem Reap, on the border of Banteay Meanchey province. It's significantly suitable for someone who would like to escape from the crowded city and explore the real life of Khmer people in countryside.
Medium size room with wooden bed and well decorated in Khmer style. You will find it very simple showing how Khmer citizens sleep and live. A wooden dressing closet is on one side of the room. There is also a lamp hanging in bamboo basket for lighting during night time. On the bed, there is a mosquito net which must be used to protect mosqitoes when you sleep. In the room there is only one fan, no aircon. But you can ask for one more fan in extra if you feel that one fan is not enough.
During your stay at Kralanh Home Stay, you can relax in a hut at a small pond behind the house. In the hut, there is a desk with full of books. Otherwise in the morning you can go out to a rice field at the east side of home stay with only 5 minutes on foot. The environment at the rice field is so fresh.
Besides sleeping and relaxing, our home stay can organize different activities for you such as cycling, ploughing with farmer, ox cart riding, sunset at Phnom Trung Bat. If you want, we can arrange stationaries for poor students in primary school.

About the Area
Our house is located in the center of Kralanh village, just behind Kralanh high school. The Khmer style market and taxi parking is just 5mn walk only. With only 10mn walk to the east of house, you will see rice paddy and a lot of cows, buffaloes and bird. About 2km to the north of house, there is a mountain named Phnom Trung Bat. There is a pagoda on the hill and on top of the hill, you can see very nice view of fields, city and it is also a perfect place for sunset. About 1km from house to the south, there is another pagoda named Kralanh Pagoda. Opposite the pagoda, it is a river named Stung Sreng which extends from Phnom Dangrek to Tonle Sap lake.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
