Your Host: Mr. Thy
During the stay in Pang Na you will experience the full range of what the community has to offer, while living with the family of Mr. Thy. His wife, called Mom, is working in a factory close to the village, his two daughters are visiting the public school and his son is studying in Phnom Penh.

The School and the Project
The family has built up an English school, located next to their house. This is where the students of the village are welcomed to improve their language and computing skills and aim for greater job opportunities in their future. Every Dollar you spend for your trip, will stay in the village to support the families and to finance the children’s education.

Welcome to Pang Na
On your arrival, the whole village welcomes you and gives you a first impression of the Khmer hospitality, warmth and generosity.
After your first night, you will get up with the crack of dawn, having a breakfast in the garden, while life in the village is already in full swing.
Fresh water is available, so you can use a bucket shower to start the day. Guests are welcomed to bring their own toiletries and towels. The Khmer people shower a few times a day to refresh themselves and handle the heat.

Food and Drinks
Breakfast and water are included, lunch and dinner will each cost 3$ on top.
For breakfast there will be a variety of eggs, baguette, rice, vegetables, bacon and fresh fruits served. For lunch and dinner the family cooks traditional Khmer meals on open fire outside, prepared with ingredients from the local market. Drinking water is included. It is possible to get cold drinks and fresh coconuts as well.

We had a wonderful homestay in Go Pang Na. It was a very nice experience. We celebrated my daughters birthday while we were there and all the children from the village came to dance and party. We also went to see an animal park (zoo), that was also a great experience. My daughters enjoyed to talk and play with the children in the family. Thank you
