Chenda and his family are the kindest people you will meet in Cambodia. We were so lucky to stay with them; they gave us motorbike lifts to many places in Pursat (waterfall and floating village), along with visiting his friends fruit garden and his wife’s school. We were given the opportunity to play and teach English with so many lovely children and we will remember this experience for the rest of our lives! When we had a problem, Chenda helped us sort it instantly and was very understanding. We both felt so welcome and at-home. We met his whole family and made plans to meet his niece in Phnom Penh. Pursat is off the backpacker route so has a really authentic experience. If you are going from Battambang/Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, make sure to stop here. Not only does it break up your journey but this place will be the highlight of your trip! We miss you and your family Chenda, hope you’re all well!!

It is a nice peaceful place to stay at.
Mr.yamchenda is really helpful and goes out of his way to make sure your stay is comfortable.
He is good at heart and treats a person as part of their family. Would highly recommend to stopover and go around explore lifestyle of Cambodian people there.
Must visit!

I have really enjoyed my stay with Mr.Yamchenda and his family. I had opportunity to meet other family members and friends. Also we made long 2 day trip on motorbikes to see beautiful Cambodian countryside and villages. Food was delicious and they have really nice coffee in the local restaurants. Had opportunity to meet lovely Cambodian children who attend private English language classes in Mr.Yachmenda's house. If you like to discover real Cambodian style of life I would advise you to visit Pursat town in the middle of Cambodia and stay in Mr.Yamchenda's family house.
