My name is Kim and I live in Chrey Village with my wife and 4 children. I am a tuk tuk and taxi driver so I can easily pick you up from the airport (new airport is 1 hour away, pick up will cost money) and take you to see many nearby temples including Angkor Wat and any other places you like (for daily fee).
Our village is quiet, very safe and 7 km out of Siem Reap city with a big lake close by for swimming. You can walk or take our bicycles (free) and see a real Cambodian village and local people. You can also use our scooter.
We have a total of 5 private rooms for you to choose from with queen size bed(s), desk, cupboard, and a private bathroom with shower or bathtub. Three of the rooms have air conditioning and fans and two have fans. Laundry is also available.
My wife is a great cook and will be happy to provide you with a delicious breakfast ($2 per person) and lunch or dinner ($3 per person). Around our garden we have many mango trees, banana, papaya, orange, grapefruit and jackfruit which you can take as you like, and they provide cool shade for a hammock, which we have many.
A private traditional Cambodian cooking class is also available in our kitchen on request.
I also provide free English school to the children in our village in the afternoon/evening. Most families living in the villages cannot pay for language school so we provide all classes and materials we can to our students for free. You are very welcome to meet our students and help teach our English class if you would like, it would be our pleasure!
The price we ask for your stay goes to growing and building our school so we can take on more students and provide better opportunities for the children in our village.
We would like to give you the real Cambodian experience!

Nice host, bring me around to show me how a real cambodian village is like. And I must mention Kim's wife, who will be your cook, because she cook good food. I especially enjoy the grilled chicken leg and the soup. Fresh mangos that are directly taken from Kim's garden will be served in each meal!!
And, the kids in English class is so nice, their pure smile still lingers in my mind even though I already left...
If you enjoy tranquility and more interaction with locals, this will be an ideal place for you to stay.Host reply

Kim warmly welcomes you into his home and family. Being a driver himself, great opportunity to take in the local sights with him. Freshly cooked meals were delicious and a nice insight into some more local meals. You are a bit further from town, but head up the road to the reservoir and chill on the hammocks.

I enjoyed my stay here very much.
Kim and her family were very kind to me.Kim took me to and from the city of Siem Reap and took me wherever I wanted to go.
Kim runs a free English class for poor children here in the evening, from Monday to Friday.
You can join this English class as a teacher.I am not a very good English speaker, but I became a teacher here.
The students were very honest and polite and I enjoyed the English class very much.I would like to visit here again and teach English to the children.

Our stay and Kim's homestay was very enjoyable. He and his family is really dedicated to make you feel welcome. If there is a local celebration he extends his invitation to you. He is working hard to provide for his family and community. The English school he has created is providing future to the local children and he is very proud and enthusiastic about it. His wife is an excellent cook so we recommend to have meals there. He was always available and willing to help with the transport to any location. Highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Kimheak is extremely kind and he keeps his spaces very clean. He was so kind to tuktuk me to and from town, and was gracious enough to stop along the way to the airport at various temples, including Angkor Wat at sunrise. That being said, because his place is a bit far away from town, it can sometimes feel a bit like you are relying on him for transport and, since he is busy, that can sometimes make you feel a bit stuck. Amazing experience, he has an extremely kind family, but up to personal preference on distance from town.

We had a lovely few nights with Kim and his family, sharing a few home cooked meals and some lovely mangoes off their trees. Nothing was too much trouble for Kim who kindly met us at the airport and showed us the local sites of Siem Reap including Angkor Wat, the Kulen National Park and Pub Street. It made our stay quite effortless and we are very grateful to him. Would thoroughly recommend.

i rigolent....

Merci beaucoup Kim.
