You will experience a village atmosphere just 10 minutes from Siem Reap town and Angkor Wat. You will be surrounded by an extended family with children, grandparents, and animals all within a lush green garden.
You will enjoy delicious traditional Khmer cooking by Mey and her son Buth Mei, who focus on wholesome and healthy food.
You can also try some good European food by Thomas, a long-term German resident at Yi Family Homestay. They cater to vegan and vegetarian needs as well.
You will benefit from their intimate knowledge of the province and tourist attractions, as well as their close interactions with local communities. They can offer you individualized time and cost-effective services as well as unique explorations.
You will support their commitment to sustainable living and protecting the natural treasures of Siem Reap. They use solar energy, recycle kitchen waste, and train farmers in modern sustainable agricultural practices

About the Area
Our house is located on the south side of the city near Tonle Sap Lake in quiet and safe. We are about 3 Km from the center of siem reap city only 25 mn from airport, tuk tuk driver is about 3-5$ and taxi is 7-10$

House Rules
Our family have 6 people my parents and 4 kids. We all work in day time my father is carpenter . My mother is look after house, me and my sister go to work in town in day time.
- We not recommend visitor to go out side after 11:00 pm
- Visitor can use all the facility in the house at no extra cost but have to inform family number
- Breakfast and other Meals need to inform family you can join daily meal with family with small extra cost
- As all the family member are speaking English there is desk phone for visitor to phone to talk with member of family that can speak English provide on what you need.

Our staying at Yi family was fantastic! They live in a beautiful hidden paradise around trees and peaceful people. It was a very good choice for us and our daughter to runway from the noisy and buys city center.

Es ist für mich der schönste und beste Platz in Siam Reap. Die Familie ist stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, Ihr Essen sehr lecker, die Zimmer einfach aber sauber. Sam hilft beim Organisieren der Touren.

I had an incredible stay with Sam and his family! A kind, big-hearted, and helpful host who will go out of his way to make your stay really wonderful. When I return to Siem Reap I will stay here again :)
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
