My husband retired surgeon (Dr.) & I lives in a 6 bed room new house in new area in Calgary, after my 2 son's got married (the older son own insurance company and other Engineers) we decided to turn the rooms to home stay, We host international Athletes as Calgary Olympic Park & Valley Ridge Golf course minutes away, and one hrs to Rocky Mountains - Banff & Lake Louise.

We are located on SW of Calgary and 25 min to downtown & big mall
Bus stop in front of the house door, 7 min to Calgary Olympic Park & restaurants, convenient store with gas bar.
One hours to Banff, Kananaskas, Kenmore, Lake Louise, Sylvan lake & Drumhiller.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
*My husband and I live in the house, and are available for any questions you may have, and will not interfere with your privacy,
* Arriving time not after 8 pm check out time before 11 am
* Park your vehicle along the street not on the drive way.
* We will see ID of the primary guest upon arrival.
* Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests upon arrival to pay (room rental + cleaning fee + extra person if will be + refundable security deposit) in cash, cash has to be available with you before keeping your luggage in the room ... ( on top of the 15% deposit is paid to Homestay.com).
1- Extra guest on the sofa $20/ea. day,
2- Cleaning services $25 for each room booked to be paid upon arrival,
3- Refundable Security deposit $100 to be paid upon arrival.
* Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.”
* Take off your out door shoes at the entrance area.
* We use flip-flop in the main floor as we don't walk with barefoot and leave it at the edge of the stairs as we try to keep the carpet as clean as possible, (please get yours with you).
* Keep your room, living area & stairs clean all the time, clean bathroom after your use, for other guest use.
* No food or drink allowed in the room or living area,
* Any stains or damage will be charged to guest at full replacement value.
* No kitchen in the basement only fridge, we don't allow food,
the accommodation for sleep and shower,
* Kitchen use in the main floor, available ( small oven, microwave, toaster, kettle), but no stove for your own use, food only allowed in the dinning table.
* Turn the light off if you are not using it.
* Please do not invite friends or relatives into our home.
* You supply your own toiletries,
* You can use laundry machine if you staying for long time, you supply your own detergent.
* please take the trash out before you leave.
* I appreciate to leave the place clean as you received it.
* Treat my home as your home please.

The host was very kind and friendly. Also the room was very clean and tidy. Most of all, the location is wonderful. The town is quiet and beautiful. 10~15mins drive from downtown. I will definitely choose this homestay when i come back. Thank you

We had a realy nice stay at Amals house. She and her husband are very friendly and helpful persons. They had always time for questions or a chat. We felt very welcomed and home. We enjoyed our stay especially the international dinner with her whole family and other guests.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
