We are a young couple in our mid 30s. We are both working professionals and live in the serene community of Mckenzie Towne. We have a domestic short hair cat as well.

The room has a desk, chair, books to read, and a pedestal fan. This room also has a shared bathroom.

House Rules

1. We don't cook pork in the house.
2. Smoking is not allowed indoors.
3. Please keep our home secure and lock doors and windows when leaving the house.
4. No pets are allowed inside.
5. Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first.
6. Please respect our home but feel comfortable.
7. Please respect the privacy of others in the house
8. If you book for 7 nights you will be charged for 7 nights. If for any reason you don't arrive on day 1 of your booking date there are no refunds and the booking amount cannot be adjusted to another date or day without having a clear conversation with the host. Kindly do not assume because you came 1 day late, you can check out 1 day late. It doesn't work that way. Kindly have a proper conversation with the host regarding any booking changes.
9. Kindly note, the entire house is not shared when you rent the room.
10. Ensure that main door is locked when you leave the house.
11. Kindly ensure that lights, exhaust fan, electricals etc are switched off when you are not using them or when you leave the house.
12. The cat is purely indoors so pls be mindful of that as cats can be very sneaky.
13. I don't allow others to cook in the kitchen, if you need meals kindly discuss with the host.
14. Please leave your outside shoes at the main entrance near the stair case.
15. Please leave used towels, folded on the chair upon departure.
16. Garbage needs to be separated into dry and wet and notified to the host.
17. No walking with outside shoes in the house. Please leave shoes near the door.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
