Host went above and beyond to help accommodate me! This place is probably the only instant book I saw here so far and is really great value for money. Good company in residence especially if learning Spanish is one of your goals.

The landlord herself was kind of good as she tried to manage the issue.
And what was the issue???
I had booked a room for two nights.
The first night I faced a serious problem around 3am when I heard a woman shouting at the door of my room. She was kind of fighting with a man at the entrance where my room located. I didn't protest as I was really tired and could sleep again in a few minutes. She maid the next shouting job with another guy in less than an hour, then again and again ...
It was a terrible night.
The next morning I texted the landlord to complain about it, but she didn't believe me as she trusted her permanent guess, not me.
Anyway, right after I transfered her a 55 CAD for 1 night and avoided to go back for 2nd night, she texted me again to apologize about that very night; She said that recently realized the problem, then offered me to stay the next night for free. I accepted because she promised me to solve the problem. However, the same lady made the shouting job around 4am.
I couldn't tolerate the house. I left there without using the bathroom even; I preferred to find a Tim Hortons for the washroom and my morning coffee.
The landlord really apologized for the very nights. I hope she has solved the problem by now.December 2021

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
