About the Homestay
COVID UPDATE: I do not accept guests for quarantine purposes. I do not accept international students directly from overseas. Please DO NOT check in if you become sick. I will refund your money.
Please note that I accept only female international students registered in a Canadian school, college or university, or those doing their internships in Canada. Please do not make a request if you do not satisfy these criteria. A government-issued ID will be required upon checking in.
My house is a 2-storey detached brick. There is one bedroom being rented out, 1 full bathroom, and a powder room on the main floor. The kitchen is bright and spacious with a breakfast area.
My son, his wife and their toddler son live in the basement. Kitchen and laundry room are shared with them and myself.
My home is in a quiet and safe residential area that is close to all amenities - shopping, entertainment, the bus terminal, central library, public and private schools, hospitals. Some schools that are close to the area are: Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus, Bronte College, Everest College, Mentor College, University of Toronto Mississauga, Applewood Heights Secondary School, Rick Hansen Secondary School, John Cabot Catholic Secondary School, John Fraser Secondary School, Heartland International English School.
As well, some of the major international businesses hold office in Mississauga, like BASF, Oracle, Continental Tires, Purolator, MSN, HP, Nokia Siemens, and are a bus ride (or bicycle ride) away.
I like to spend time in the garden and travel and enjoy the exchange of cultural nuances that comes from hosting international students.

I stayed at Victorias house for 9 weeks. It's a clean and tidy house in a quiet residential area. Vicotria was a great host. I felt very welcome and she answered all my questions and helped me a lot in the beginning - thank you, Victoria!
Bus stops are within 10 minutes walking distance and it's only 5 minutes with the bus to Square One (the City Center of Mississauga).
Victoria was a great host and made me feel very welcome at her home. She has a beautiful house which is very close to the city centre.
Thank you for this pleasant time and for having me as your guest!

Lots of thank to Victoria
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
