Please note that I accept only international students registered in a Canadian school, college or university, or those doing their internships in Canada, and preferably female. I reserve the right to accept male students on a case by case basis. Please do not make a request if you do not meet these criteria. A government-issued ID will be required upon checking in.
My house is a 2-storey detached brick. There are two bedrooms being rented out on the 2nd floor and 2 rooms in the basement. The full bathroom upstairs is shared with the other student, and the one in the basement is also shared. The kitchen is on the main floor. It is bright and spacious with a breakfast area and is shared with the other students and myself.
My home is in a quiet and safe residential area that is close to all amenities - shopping, entertainment, the bus terminal, central library, public and private schools, hospitals. Some schools that are close to the area are: Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus, Bronte College, University of Toronto Mississauga, Lambton College, Metalworks Institute & Heartland International English School.
As well, some of the major international businesses hold office in Mississauga, like BASF, Oracle, Continental Tires, Purolator, MSN, HP, Nokia Siemens, Bell Canada/ Mobility and are a bus ride (or bicycle ride) away.
I like to spend time in the garden and travel and enjoy the exchange of cultural nuances that comes from hosting international students.
I ask students to do their part in maintaining the cleanliness of the house and for respecting my homestay guidelines.
I require MINIMUM 2 week's notice for stays of up to 3 months, and 2 months' notice for stays longer than 3 months, if you are moving out earlier than your original requested date. Failure to do this will mean forfeiture of any remaining rent already paid out.
For stays longer than 3 months, I require 2 months' rent paid upon arrival.

About the Area
Our house is located on the west end of Toronto in a quiet and very safe suburb called Mississauga. Mississauga was rated as Canada's 11th best city to live in terms of prosperity according to MoneySense magazine.
We are right at the city centre - close to shopping, entertainment, libraries, public and private schools, and hospitals. Square One is the major shopping mall, and the Living Arts Centre is close by and offers performing and visual arts programs as well as corporate meeting facilities.
The airport is a 15- minute drive, while downtown Toronto is 30 minutes away.
The bus stop is a 2-minute walk from our home. From there, you can go to the main bus terminal in Square One and make a connection to anywhere, including Toronto. The name of public transit is Mississauga Transit or MiWay.

Please keep our home secure and make sure the front door is locked when leaving and re-entering.
Please maintain cleanliness everywhere and at all times. Be respectful for other members of the household at all times. Be considerate of the next person who will use the common areas and clean up after each use. The kitchen is available for eating meals and snacks up to 10PM daily. Guests are requested to be home by 10PM daily. Please call or text me ahead of time if you will be home later.
Please do not adjust the heat settings.
Please do not invite strangers into our home.

I stayed with Victoria last year, and that was a good experience, she is very clean and she give you privacy, the house is nice and is located in a good location.

Victoria's place is beautiful, new and clean. The neighbourhood is very safe and has lots of parks around. Victoria is responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this homestay.

Thank you, Victoria, for hosting me at your beautiful house. Victoria had prepared everything to the details for my arrival. I had a spacious bedroom, and all other necessary amenities available to use to make me feel at ease and comfortable. Victoria is very respectful of her guest's privacy, but she is also fun to chat with. I very much appreciate the time spent at your lovely home, I hope to see you on day in Prague soon!

I stayed at Victorias house for 9 weeks. It's a clean and tidy house in a quiet residential area. Vicotria was a great host. I felt very welcome and she answered all my questions and helped me a lot in the beginning - thank you, Victoria!
Bus stops are within 10 minutes walking distance and it's only 5 minutes with the bus to Square One (the City Center of Mississauga).October 2015

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
