I would be very happy to welcome you not just in a room but in a full section of my house that will provide you a complete apartment for the price of a room.
I am a kind and fun single mom and I have a very beautiful house in Montreal 20 min away from downtown and right beside all services, including but in front of the house. I have to mention that my son is 14 and very peaceful. He plays in his bedroom and doesn't disturb the house.
I work all day so between my office and taking care of the house, I am quite busy but we love having fun and enjoying outdoor activities.
I am from France, living in Quebec for about 20 years now. I visited quite a few countries and I speak french, english, spanish and italian.
The house has in its basement a complete apartment that 2 students can share. There are 2 furnished bedrooms with TV, desk, Wi-Fi, fridge and storage. There is also a little kitchen for those who want to prepare some meals or snacks (I cook in the main kitchen that is on the main floor and it is where we take the meals when we eat together). In the « little apartment », there is also a little living room with a big screen if you want to watch movies with friends and a bathroom with washing machine and dryer. There is a door that communicates between this part of my house and the rest of the house so we still live together but this configuration gives privacy to those who wish. Also, the « little apartment » has another door that goes directly outside so you can receive visits without having them cross the rest of the house.
The house has a heated swimming pool that you can enjoy anytime you want between april and october.
The house is located 5 min by bus to Concordia University and 30 min by bus and metro to downtown. Bus stops in front of the house.
If you have a car, the parking lot is free and the snow is removed in winter.
Around the house, you will find an amazing number of stores, malls and very easy and quick access to everywhere in Montreal. The neighborhood is very calm with a lot of families and the riverside is to a 5 min walk distance where you can go relax by the water, bicycle or jog.
5 min walk from the house, you will find for free : tennis set, basketball, skate park, soccer field, external arena and internal arena.

House Rules
Please note the prices given are with no meals. I can provide the meals for extra fees.
The homestay rules will be given on the arrival of the guests but, quickly, we could summary saying that to respect the other people of the house, it is important to clean what we use.
If you book a long time in advance, I will require to pay the first month to block the room. This month won't be refundable.
If your stay covers several months, you will always have to pay one month ahead during the whole length of your stay. Once paid, it is never refundable.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
