About the Homestay
The rooms are very nice and roomy except for the den; this is a tiny room with no windows, closets or dressers. It has three large drawers under the bed, a nightstand and clothes rack. The Guest room and Den share a bathroom which is cleaned daily. The apartment is on the 27th floor and has a 180 degree panoramic view of the Fraser River and industrial sites. It is a vibrant area with the following services and amenities accessible via the 4th floor of my building; two skytrain stations, a major bus loop connecting neighbouring communities including a late night service which most of Vancouver does not have, many shops including; grocery stores, theatre, fitness center, banks, liquor store and restaurants on the concourse level on the 4th floor of my building.

About the Area
My apartment is located one block from a beautiful river walk way with restaurants and bars. We have two skytrains that service Vancouver and one to Surrey which can be accessed from the 4th floor of the building. It also hosts a major bus line exchange on the main floor to adjacent communities. It takes approx 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver. New Westminster is a young and vibrant community. Its developing rapidly as the next urban lifestyle hub where commuters are not required to cross any bridges or tunnels for access. It has many parks and cool restaurants and boutiques. The building, as well as the concourse level, has top security. I feel extremely safe commuting to and from Vancouver and walking around at night. There are cultural events and comedy clubs and lots to do. You do not need a car.

Absolutely no smoking, The building is non smoking. There are two guest rooms in my apartment. Should there be a double booking (both rooms) the bathroom will be shared between guests. You may use the microwave to prepare simple meals and a light breakfast is provided ; bread, preserves yogurt etc and coffee or tea. Feel free to use the fridge for your drinks etc. and enjoy the view from the balcony. The living area is for my personal use however the large bedroom does have a TV and the apartment has Wifi.
Smoking is not allowed.
Carla is very nice. We sat down together every morning for a delicious breakfast. She even made the most amazing crepes one time. The place is wonderful and incredibly clean. The view is just amazing. The skytrain is right outside. I would recommend to stay with her to everyone.
Carla is a very welcoming and open-minded person. She's always helpful and knows how to make a good breakfast. furthermore, the location of her apartment is absolutely amazing and it has a wonderful view!
