Musa and I would like to welcome you to Ottawa. We offer WiFi, laundry facilities and all your meals are included. Our rooms are completely furnished. You only need to supply your personal items like shampoo, soap and toothpaste. Our home is air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter time . One transfer and you could be downtown Ottawa in 40 minutes. We are very close to banks, restaurants, stores and fast foods...a 5 to 15 minute walk.
Barb and Musa are in their 50's and enjoy cooking, watching movies, music, reading, and travelling. Musa is a manager of a medical supply company with a PhD in architecture. He speaks Arabic and English. Barb is a chemical laboratory technologist and speaks English.
We enjoy watching the hockey and we would encourage you to join us in cheering on the Ottawa Senators with us!

About the Area
Our homestay is a really good choice in Tanglewood. Once you complete your booking you'll get a mail with our complete address. Don't worry you won't have any problems finding us. I can help with transport tips too from central Ottawa if necessary.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Please do not wear strongly scented products when living with us. We are sensitive and it makes it difficult for us to breathe.
Please keep our home secure and lock the front door when entering and leaving the house
Dinner meals will be prepared by either Musa or myself and we enjoy having our meals together in the evenings. Breakfast and lunches will be prepared by yourself. If there is something that you would like, ask me and I will see what I can do about getting it.
We don't drink alcohol and we ask that our students respect this when they are going out with their friends.
Keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 pm please
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home!

I only have to say that this family is a real family, very marvellous and wonderful! Nice and pleasant they are very kind, very welcome and open mind. I love this family!!

All the family is really nice and they want that you feel good when you arrive in their house. I really appreciated to live with them and I am great to know them during my internship in Canada !
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
