We have a quiet home in a neighborhood that is close to schools, shopping, close to bus/transit, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions.
It is myself, my partner and my 12 year old daughter living in the house with 1 small adorable dog and 2 young spunky cats that are brothers.
We have a stoned patio front that is nice to sit out, a BBQ for cooking and in our home there is always cooking going on.
We are looking to host a student or adult that would like to part of our family and experience what our Nation's capital is all about. We can show you all the areas of Ottawa that are known for its history and exciting things to do.

Our home is located near major city streets, shopping, 20 minutes from downtown, bus is 2 min away, bike paths and shopping are very close as well either by walking, bicycle, driving or bus.

House Rules
Our home has a security system with cameras and locks that can be accessed remotely. We have the security system on at night and must lock the doors when coming and going. The kitchen is there for us all to use but I ask that we all respect the space and clean up after one another.
I do have a young and impressionable daughter so please no heavy drinking, no drugs and no strangers. My home is welcoming and if you have a guest it is mandatory that I know in advance just I can feel comfortable in my own home.
This would be your home during your stay so please treat it like a special place to be.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
