My husband and I love travelling and like to meet travellers too. We are both working in financial industry.
We would like to host mostly students from any where in the world.We speak English and help students to get familiar with the new environment. (Only female guest please)

Our home is 5 minutes walk to the Water. Huge Green and private backyard. Its a perfect place to relax , study or enjoy your vacation being in a peaceful , safe , beachy and charming area of Ioco , Port Moody.is located very close to Coquitlam town Centre and Lougheed mall , Douglass college, Lafarge park , west coast train and sky train. It's also very close to Recreation Centres , library and many trails and parks. 4 minutes walk to the bus stop and 10 minutes bus drive to the sky train station.

She is an amazing host! She often made soup for me at dinner and I was very encouraged by her and her husband when I was struggling to find a job. My best memory at her home is a Christmas party with her family! She let me join it and I had a lot of fun with delicious food and fun games. I'm so glad that she was the first person I got to know in Canada. Thank you so much!!

It was a great experience to stay in this place for 10 days. The house was exactly same as the pictures, and the location is very convenient to get a public transportation. Also, hosts made me feel like I am home, so I am willing to stay this place again if I have an opportunity to visit Vancouver. I hope Maryam and Yadzi will always be happy.

Maryam is a wonderful host! She is kind, caring and positive person and it was a pleasant experience staying with her and her family! Also, her place is clean and comfortable and it is in a beautiful surroundings. I would definitely stay there again when I have chance!

The host were very kind and helpful, I felt that i was living at my own place, very comfortable, very clean and peaceful.
The house and the room were exactly the same, I really enjoyed the stay and the view was excellent. I certainly will go back when I am back in future.December 2023
I cannot describe how amazing Maryam and her family and their house are. The location is absolutely convenient, in a beautiful nature and easy to reach by public transportation. They made me feel like I was at home. The home was very comfortable and clean. The furnitures were brand new and the house was exactly same as shown on the pictures on Homestay page. Maryam and her family are very welcoming, kind, helpful, understanding and positive people. To spend time with them was very enjoyable. Besides, they helped me a lot, they gave so many helpful suggestions to me. I feel very lucky to meet that kind of family at my first visit to Vancouver. I would definitely love to come back, I wouldn't even think twice to stay there again. Maryam: you have another home in Turkey, you can visit us whenever you want.

I needed a break from my busy life in the city, so I stayed in Vancouver for a month. I was very happy to be able to spend time with good people in a beautiful home. I could see beautiful beaches just by walking a short distance or taking a bus, and even without going out, drinking tea on the terrace and looking at the scenery made me feel completely at peace. If I come to Vancouver again, I will stay again. I hope Maryam and Yazdi will always be healthy and happy.

I would highly recommend staying with Maryam if you're a student! I had an exam to take close by to her location, so this was a perfect find for me. Maryam was very friendly and accommodating to my needs. The house was quiet, clean, and felt very comfortable. Just what a student needs. It's also close to public transit, which made it easy to get around. The surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful for an added bonus. If you're a student looking for a place to stay long-term, I would highly recommend staying with Maryam!

Mary and her family have a beautiful and comfortable home, with spacious rooms. The pictures on the website do not do them justice. From the airport pickup to our stay with them it felt like we had come home to familiar people. They were very considerate of our needs and allowed us to be part of their family for a few days.
I do not hesitate to recommend them for a full 5 star experience as they are genuine social people and considerate of their guests' needs. I definitely will look them up next time i am in Vancouver and they will remain close to our hearts.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
