We live in the suburbs of Vancouver, BC Canada, close to the Ocean in a quiet neighbourhood. We are very close to most things, we are right on the transit bus line, 10 mins to Skytrain & transit buses go past right our home. We are 6 houses away from two bus stops.
Port Moody Senior High school and Sea view elementary schools are close to walk.
Also Moody Middle School, Charles Best High School and Charles Banting Schools are close distance too.
We are close to Simon Fraser University, Douglas College via transit and many other local language colleges.
We have a large home with two bedrooms with a three piece bathroom. The Bathroom has a tub, shower, toilet, sink with granite counters.
Also, close by is Lougheed Mall (7 mins away), and Coquitlam Center Mall via transit and with lots of restaurants, and grocery shopping available. There are many Korean, Chinese stores, restaurants near by. Henderson Center is not far via bus.
Both bedrooms have their own Private Entrance.
You will find us a very quiet couple and enjoy having students live with us.
We can supply linens for the bed and also towels.

Bedrooms are both very bright with a window, Queen beds, desk, lamp, night table, night lamp, dresser, mirror, sitting area and both have a closet with storage.
Bedroom #1 has carpet and #2 bedroom has new hardwood flooring. Both bedrooms have windows with new blinds and window opens for fresh air. We also have the option to have either a single bed or a Queen bed in either room - your choice.
Our back Yard is very private, it is large with lots of grass and flower gardens which leads into a greenbelt with large trees.
We cook Western food for most dinners. We grow lots of our own vegetables & berries in the garden.
We have a BBQ is on deck we use lots. Outdoor furniture including table/chairs and Umbrella for your use on the deck and in the back garden.
We have very friendly neighbors and street parking is available on the street in front of our home.
You are invited to join us for dinner nightly, you can help pack a lunch for school and breakfast foods and snacks are available. Our dinners are a variety of foods, mainly Western foods with lots of healthy vegetables nightly.
We have hosted many different students over the years, and always enjoy having in our home. Some of the students have been long term, and others were short term.
Please ask if you require anything further, as we want you to feel comfortable in our home! We look forward to hearing from you. We can also do pick up or drop off at YVR Airport if required for a fee. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information. We welcome short and long term stays in our home. English is spoken in our home. Many Parks are really close, ocean is about 10 mins away. Pickle Ball/ Tennis Courts, sports court, running track, baseball diamond, soccer field, spray park, track and local public outdoor swimming pool at the end of the street at the local park within walking distance. Lots of green space, walking trails and friendly locals.

About the Area
Our home is in a very quiet area of Port Moody. We have a bus stop about 6 houses away that goes directly to Skytrain which goes into Vancouver or east towards Coquitlam Center, Douglas College.. Lots of shopping close by via transit.
We are about 20 minutes away from Vancouver and about 45 mins from YVR Airport.
Our city has lots of restaurants, fast food to choose from. We have two very large Shopping malls close by, Lougheed Town Center, and Coquitlam Center. We have a public pool at the end of our street, plus fitness equipment. We would be happy to show you around our beautiful city. We are minutes away from Rocky Point Park which is ocean front. Please ask if you need further explanation of location.

House Rules
Please No loud music after 9 pm. We would request you keep your room neat and tidy and respect our furniture. We would like you to keep it clean, dusted and same for the bathroom too.
We would request no extra people to stay overnight unless arranged first, parking available on our street, no drugs and no smoking... We expect to be treated as if its your home and with respect. Shared laundry facilities available. Storage is also available for a bike, or a few boxes. We would request you keep your room clean and tidy while here!
You will find us very friendly, smiling and always eager to assist you in any way we can.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
