We have welcomed and enjoyed students and adults from many different cultures into our home. We are very experienced hosts always looking to welcome a new female student into our home, or adults.
Our home is on Heritage Mountain, nestled among walking trails, in a very safe neighbourhood in Port Moody. It close to high schools and recreation. There is also great access to Pinetree Secondary, Douglas College David Lam campus
in Coquitlam, and Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. Downtown Vancouver is 45 minutes by skytrain! The skytrain line has now expanded into Port Moody and Coquitlam. The bus to Coquitlam College is #182, then the Millennium line.
We are a professional couple, she works with students daily at SFU, he is a leader in the mental health field and understands students' cultural adjustments and help with difficult transitions.
In the past, we have supported female students who stay with us for a long time, some have been with us for 2-3 years.
If you re looking for a more independent stay, there is a separate brand new 3 bedroom suite, just for you! We do request a 20% advance to hold the booking for you. We welcome you and look forward to hearing from you!

About the Area
Our house is located in a lush area of Port Moody. It is a 2 minute walk to the local transit, which connects you to the Skytrain, taking you to Vancouver in 40 minutes. Kayaking at Rocky Point inlet, hiking Heritage Mountain, cycling trails, or golf are a few of the many activities in the area.
Easy access to all schools, Douglas College, Fraser Institute, and Simon Fraser University.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Clean-up- you are expected to take care of your room and help keep common spaces tidy. Please tidy up bathroom and shower space, and common area.
Please ask of you need help.
Guests are welcome to visit, but please check with us in advance to make sure there aren't plans that might conflict.
PAYMENT DETAILS:
Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room.
We do request a 20% advance to hold the booking for you. We welcome you and look forward to hearing from you!
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
