We are a couple who like outdoor activities, road trips, movies and dining out. We have no kids or pets but we are currently renting out another bedroom to a female student. We cook simple meals that are healthy but tasty. We like to treat ourselves by going out for dinner or lunch on a weekly basis. Anica speaks multiple languages and Leo likes to joke around a lot but is very helpful. We live in a safe upper scale neighborhood in Richmond Hill with transit, parks, nature trails and all amenities near by.

About the Area
We are located on the north end of the city in a safe, upscale suburb with two different transit options: Viva bus stop, steps away from the house and a GO bus stop, a five minute walk away. We have a park behind our house with a splash pad, a soccer field and there are a multitude of schools, parks, nature trails, shopping and restaurants. We also have a movie theatre and are 40 minutes from the city of Toronto.

House Rules
Please treat our home as you would your own! Please keep our home secure and lock the front door when entering and leaving the house. Please do not invite strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, please check with us first. No pets allowed. Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Use of kitchen, please clean up after yourself. No noise after 10 pm. Please note that a Homestay contract stating the rest of our house rules will need to be signed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
