I am from Beijing, China, and have lived in Vancouver, Canada for more than 20 years. I am proficient in both Chinese and English. Our family members are three people, my husband and daughter, and my daughter is born in Canada, proficient in Chinese, English and French. My husband and I have been working in education for more than 20 years in Vancouver and are now retired. We have many years of homestay experience and hope to share happy life with others.

About the Area
Our house is located in the noble Chinese community in the northernmost part of Surrey City. My home is in the heart of the community, near schools, bus stops and shopping malls. It is very convenient to drive through Highway 1 in Canada. Beautiful environment, quiet inner street, plenty of parking spaces. About 40 minutes drive from the airport

We've stayed here for two months, while we've been studying in Vancouver. The connections to the city are good and easy to reach, there are also good possibilities for shopping without a car. The house is very nice, it's clean and bright with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Jingping herself is very helpful if you are searching for advice, likes to talk and is absolutely uncomplicated. We did very enjoy the time here.

Room and house are very clean and you find anything you need. Jing gives good recommendations and is very helpful too.
The location is close to supermarkets, bus station etc and is in a very nice calm neighbourhood.

Hostess is excellent at managing the big house. The room/kitchen/washroom are clean and tidy. During my stay I feel at ease and comfortable, like being a member of a big family. I believe a lot of guests here feel the same way.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
