We are very friendly hosts who make our guests feel right at home. Our Colonial style house has beautiful gardens and is located just one block from the lake in the serene and safe neighborhood of Longbranch; just a 15 minute drive to downtown Toronto when the traffic is good. Marie Curtis park, the waterfront trail and a beach are just a five minute walk. Guests have a clean, private place to stay in the basement level accessible via stairs (no elevator). It is equipped with a bathroom, laundry room, Queen size comfy bed, and kitchenette (including a mini fridge and microwave - NOTE there is no stove, no freezer or kitchen sink). The unit has a separate entrance so it's private. Guests have access to a beautiful backyard with a gorgeous garden to relax in. It's the best of both worlds... Lakeside living near the city.
Note: the ceiling height is 6 feet 5 inches.
Public transit: five minute walk to streetcar which takes you downtown in approx 50 mins. 15 min walk to the GO Train which takes you downtown in 25 mins.
Check-in: between 3pm and 10pm
Check-out: by 11am

Cleaning of room if requested during stay: $60
Laundry: $5 per load for wash and dry.
Costs are in Canadian dollars. The balance of payment for the accommodation and any additional services are to be paid directly to the host upon arrival in cash or bank transfer.

About the Area
Our house is located one block from the lake in quaint Longbranch. There are beautiful waterfront trails and greenspace surrounding us. We are a 5 minute walk to lakeshore where there are cafés, restaurants, amenities and public transit which takes you downtown in approx 40 Mins. We are a 15 minute drive to down Toronto. Cancelation policy: three days notice required to receive a refund (minus administration fee of $75).

I’m not only happy with the room and the service but I’m also glad I met Deanne. She is a great host, really straightforward, kind, and helpful. I stayed with my boyfriend for two weeks and we are grateful to have found this place. The location is perfect, for quiet walks and for time to meditate and read. We moved around with Uber or the rental bikes available not far away from here. It has been a beautiful trip. We look forward to coming back soon again!

Deanne, is a wonderful Host. She went out of her way to personally assist me. She is flexible and an excellent communicator. There if you need her, but will also give you your space. Great location near the water, with grocery store close by and transit within walking distance. Would definitely stay for a 3rd time!

Deanne's Homestay was wonderful, her home is not only beautiful, but in a fabulous location with the lake very close by. The Homestay was roomy and had everything I needed. Deanne is attentive but left me alone to do my own thing, which I appreciated. I will definitely return when I have the opportunity.

Deannes home is beautiful, clean and well presented, Deanne was amazing at letting me know what was available locally for eateries, traversing the public transport, any problems she was always on hand to deal with. Amazing person, would definitely book here again

Warm welcome and hospitality, good communication, everything provided in the accomodation, quite place.
We appreciate to use the patio for breakfast.

Deanne was an excellent host. He worried to know if he was okay and if he needed help with anything.
The room is clean, spacious and cozy. A very quiet place to rest.
The fantastic environment for jogging or taking a walk a few steps from the lake.

Lovely little place in a lovely location. Shops and the lake nearby. Deanne is a great host that gives you the privacy you need but always on call to help if needed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
